I was in Vermillion to have a survey done on a sailboat I was purchasing and was intrigued by the reviews I read for the Wine Vault so decided to give them a try. The experience was truly delightful! Small comfortable space, reasonable noise level and wonderful service and outstanding food. Halley, was very attentive and made exactly the right recommendations for what I wanted to experience. Tuna tartare as an appertizer, followed by their special arugula & beets salad and finished up with their filet & risotto main course cooked perfectly to my request, medium rare plus. Mostly a local crowd that proved very welcoming to an out of towner. All in all one of the best experiences I have had in months. Well done & thank you Halley!

First time in tonight and we definitely will be going back. The atmosphere is cozy and makes it feel more secluded. The owners are amazing and the staff is great. For me they have a great beer section of craft and imported to select from and also offers a flight set up how every you choose. The food selection was great and the portions where spot on. You are able to have three or four portions and leave perfectly full. The risotto balls as an app was so good followed by the lobster bisque witch was also very good. For our meals it was the surf an turf witch was cooked perfectly with very good flavors and not over powering to take away from the dish. All and all it was a very good experience and would definitely recommend and will be going back again.

We came here for the first time for dinner and Omg—I am still dreaming about the food! We both got the burger (I ordered no bun), the truffle fries were to die for and the mushroom fries were just as good! Nice variety of wines and beer to choose from too. We sat on the patio but inside area looked just as calm. Definitely recommend for date night or even a girls night out, can’t wait to spread the word about this place!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Food is amazing, especially deserts. Menu has some unique really good dishes. Drinks are great. The place has a really cool unique atmosphere, being in the old bank. Josh the owner is awesome and is typically working behind the bar. Love love love this place and highly recommend.

Best dinner I think I’ve ever had! Started with the French onion soup – 10 / 10. Then moved on to the lobster roll – hot and buttered – to die for. Then chocolate torte to finish it off. Really just absolutely amazing. Must try! Be sure to make a reservation, though.

This was our first visit and we were very impressed. I made a reservation with Josh (the owner) and he greeted us when we arrived. Our server, James was excellent. He recommended wines & was very attentive. The food and wine was delicious. We would definitely go here again the next time we are in town.

I only leave food reviews when I’m truly impressed. Which is why this is the only food review I’ve ever left.
We had mushroom fries, filet and risotto, pierogies, scallops and gnocchi and pear salad.
Everything was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. Our server James was attentive, prompt and very friendly.
It may be pricier than some other restaurants, but it was worth every penny. Wish we lived closer so we could frequent more often. An absolute culinary joy. Thank you!

With the only exception being a gluten intolerance situation.. The entire experience was great! Josh helped personalize our visit by hand picking a “wine flight” for me. My steak, scallops and risotto were cooked to perfection. The mini cheesecake dessert was like a creamy piece of heaven in the center. A great mother’s day celebration.

Such an Amazing little spot in Vermillion. Luckily called for a reservation before they opened for the day. Spoke with John the owner and he hooked us up with a nice 2 top. Tight space, but very well utilized. The food and swrvice was fantastic!
