Came here for dinner. Food was fresh and tasted good. Reasonable and goof serving portions. Service was fast. Recommended!

On a Saturday afternoon just after 12pm we sat at the bar. As soon as we sat down, we felt uninvited. The bartender did however, serve us immediately since he was already there taking care of one other patron. We received our margaritas promptly, However, we did not see that bartender again until we finally had to ask for our check. I used the restroom and as I passed two employees, I warmly smiled, Neither employee acknowledged me. We were served our menus promptly by a wonderful waitress Yana( Not sure on spelling) She was gracious, gorgeous smile, very kind. The only employee to smile or even acknowledge us.. We finished our food and had to loudly ask for our check and a box after at least 10 mins. Thoroughly disappointed. 2 margaritas, 3 tacos and a chimichanga was $50. Not impressed. We won’t return.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is always good. I tried a bite of my mom’s Steak Cozumel last time and it was soooo good… I ended up ordering it for myself this time – every bite was so delicious. No regrets. We also got a pitcher of the house margs, on the rocks, and it ended up being about 8 medium sized glasses total. Totally worth it.

Food is always good we had the shrimp chimichanga dinner (3 is about 25 dollars) but it’s more like chimi taquitos than a burrito fried and the the Pollo Verde (about $16) is good protein is minimal but meal all together is good their cheese dip ($7) or cheese sauce it’s pretty expensive but it is good their horchata ($7) tastes like it’s made with a powder mix than from scratch. I always come back place is good for dessert we had the chimi cheesecake ($7) it’s honestly the best it come with vanilla ice-cream with chocolate syrup

This was fantastic Mexican food. The food arrived extremely fast and was very nice when we got it. Good rice and beans, but the main entree’s really nailed it. The service was a bit inconsistent, but I think that was a one-off as it was getting busy. As for atmosphere, I also rated that a little lower because it felt like it was for a different restaurant, but still a great place. Will definitely go back every time we are in the area. Make sure you have the queso!

Might be worth the extra drive to Milwaukee if you want closer to authentic food.
The place isn’t legit if the standard taco comes out with shredded cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. The salsa wasn’t hot either. You have to let them know you want the cilantro and onions version. The food was salty, but probably average for the demographic they’re catering towards. I couldn’t finish my sides because the rice and beans were too salty.
The real taco was pretty good and I would go back for it if I was in the mood.
The staff were pretty nice. And we got seated really fast. I went with a big group of friends. The atmosphere is also aesthetically pleasing. We saw lots of other families there.
Overall, I can see what segment of the local Oak Creek population they’re catering towards. And if you like to have your food graciously seasoned and kinda Americanized and if you cannot handle spice…this is the place to be. For everyone else, might be worth the few extra minutes drive to Milwaukee area. If you just need a place to hangout with friends, I’d also recommend it because the vibe and staff is good.

Very nice Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee. Overall, I’d go back on a day other than Sunday since their specials look a lot more affordable than their regular fare. The dishes are more on the salty side, so be ready for some flavor fullness. This is especially true since I skipped the tortillas (b/c keto), so maybe ask for a little less salt when ordering?
The difference between steak ranchero and the carne asada was the size and that the asada came in a sizzling skillet, like fajitas. The carne asada definitely looked more appetizing, though the meat tasted very much similar. The steak ranchero came in one plate, with the sides on one side and veggies atop the meat. The sides for the asada came in a separate plate and the meat came on top of grilled veggies, all sizzling on a skillet. The meat tasted the same.
The tacos with beef were good but kind of salty as the rest of the food, according to the friend who had it.
Server was very nice and tended to our needs just as needed.
