I’ve lived in this area for about three and a half years, and to be totally honest—I’ve hated it. I grew up in a more metropolitan city surrounded by amazing food, craft cocktails, and exceptional service, and I’ve spent years searching for a place here that could give me that same sense of “home.” Well, I’m thrilled to say I’ve finally found it.
The meal was outstanding—generous portions, cooked to perfection, and the house-made pasta was a clear highlight. Service was equally impressive; timing was flawless, and every interaction felt intentional. As a former bartender and server, I really appreciate attention to detail—good memory, good manners, and that one arm behind the back go a long way.
And the drinks? Spectacular. I’m extremely picky about cocktails, and these were easily the best I’ve had since moving here. I’m told that’s thanks to the bartender, Jessica. I’ve visited the owner’s other restaurant before—great food, but the drinks fell short—so fingers crossed they make Jessica the bartender trainer!
Overall, an incredible experience. I also appreciate that “street clothes” aren’t permitted—it really adds to the upscale feel. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!

Fantastic experience starting from the hostess with the most-ess, Cali, to finish. The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was equally impressive: attentive, friendly, and never overbearing. The absolute highlight of the night, though, was the Banana Foster Old Fashioned. It was creative, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had at a steakhouse. Can’t wait to come back.

I’ve come here multiple times for two different celebrations (one being my mom’s birthday and the other being my own birthday) and between the service, food, staff, and atmosphere- everything is perfect. I highly recommend not only for a celebration but also just for a nice night out. Tonight, Will, Charlotte, Jess, Tabitha and the manager Christian gave my friend and I great service and I will be back.

Such a great experience from start to finish! The Halloween-themed drinks were absolutely adorable. I tried the Heaven or Hell potion, and it was not only super cute but also delicious. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, which was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time, creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced.
A special shoutout to our server, Troy, who was absolutely top-notch! He was attentive, friendly, and made the entire dining experience even better. Between the creative presentation, cozy atmosphere, and amazing service, Rare & Rye really delivered a memorable night out. Can’t wait to go back!

I went in on Wednesday night for cocktail and it did NOT disappoint! Jess the bartender made me a tequila drink and it was so delicious but also so beautiful! So staff was so much fun and enjoyable to talk to. Christian the manager was welcoming from the moment I stepped in, which you don’t get that at a lot of other places! You’re welcomed with smiles, amazing energy and awesome vibes which in my opinion is somewhere I will continue to go to for that very reason!

Going to rare and rye was such an experience. The food was good ( props to the Chef) , the service was good and the general manager, Christian, was so polite and was so attentive to our needs. I went to Rare and Rye Steakhouse today for the first time & it happened to be there first opening of Jazz Night!!! The service was amazing Peyton was my server & the manager Christian was soooo attentive. Everyone was so sweet & welcoming! Definitely will be back

Victoria the bartender is incredible! She’s great at making any drinks on the menu but will also come up with something custom upon request! I came for their new jazz night and the ambiance was so nice. Christian the manager was so friendly and personable. 10/10 service!

Really nice place overall. What made the rating so high was the fact we were not aware we needed to make a reservation. We were told an opening was available 2 hours from the time we got there. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks. By the time we took our first sip, we were informed there was an opening and we were seated in about 10 mins from the time we arrived.
Atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was very nice and made some good recommendations.
The con for us was the size of the oysters. My wife and I were joking that they were the mini oysters. But, they were good with the vinegarett.
We would definitely go back, but, try different things on the menu. And, more importantly we will make a reservation and visit their cigar lounge that is connected.
