What a lovely afternoon! I met a friend here for lunch and everything about our experience was wonderful — the service, the food, and the atmosphere were all exceptional.

We ordered the 2 for $14 special (half sandwich with a salad or soup), and it was absolutely delicious. It even came with fresh bread and dipping oil, which was such a nice touch. The fresh flowers on the table made it feel extra welcoming and cozy.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the owner personally stopped by to chat. We enjoyed his father’s legacy wine, Frank’s Cabernet Sauvignon, and he generously gave us a sample of the nine-grape blend he curated — both were fantastic!

Highly recommend for a relaxing lunch with great food and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back! ✨

It was a cute little restaurant in Tanger Outlet mall. One side and Italian deli the other side a restaurant. The Bruschetta was superb! It was served cold but the combination of flavors were perfect! The salad was good along with the turkey pesto sandwich. The Alfredo was good.

This place is quite charming. The layout is grest and the tables are perfectly decorated.

We ordered the Fried mushrooms as an appetizer. The mushrooms were thick and meaty, possibly Portobello. I had the Turkey Pesto sandwich that came with a side salad and the cup of Tomato Basil soup. Both were incredibly delicious and served on amazing white plates.

My husband had the Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and added chicken and shrimp on top. He also ordered a side (half size) Ceasar Salad.

This time of year, when the summer has come and gone, is the best time to go. It was great!

We came in to pick up a few items in Russos’s store and then decided to have lunch on the restaurant side. Lovely atmosphere. It was a very casual place to order lunch. Everything on the lunch menu looked delicious. I ordered the pick 2 for $12. I had a half wrap of chicken ceasar wrap and a cup of chicken and wild rice soup. My husband had a pick two also and went with the veggie half wrap and their homemade chili. He said it was the best he has had in a while. Our server said it was a new soup that just started today. The portions were just right. I ordered the tiramisu. I love tiramisu and I am picky on the taste. This beautiful desert tasted so wonderful, I had to get some to go in their freezer section of homemade food items. It instantly shot up to my number one!
Speaking of the homemade freezer items, they have many grab and go deserts and meals.
The store was extremely clean as was the restaurant. Russos’s has been the source of fresh Italian foods, ingredients and wine in Grand Rapids since the 1902. It’s still family operated. And you’ll always see at least a couple of Russos’ around to help out their customers. Top notch place.

We have came here several times and have had friendly service and good food each time. My favorite is the Chicken Marsala with Baked Potato and a side of Pasta Salad.
Price wise, it’s about the same as any other Italian restaurant. It was $$$ for dinner for two. We usually go there around 3pm, there is lots of seating available.
The atmosphere is nice, not quite white linen table cloth but very nice.
Service was perfect, super friendly and never needed or wanted anything for not.

We wanted to try something different for a meatball sub. This is the place for meatball sub. Devine. Delicious. Delectable… Real meatballs not frozen. Bread nice and toasted, the cheese melted on top so good. I got the turkey pesto sandwich so good. It’s loaded with bacon tomato turkey so good. Bread nice crispy edge and a good bite to eat. The portions are very reasonable for a person.

Our hostess was so sweet when she learned we had just left another new restaurant because of a BAD dining experience and she was able to quickly seat us. We were quickly greeted by the sweetest waitress who got us drinks right away and offered us appetizers. It felt like we were catching up with an old friend because she was so personable. Our food came out quickly and was DELICIOUS. We were lucky enough to meet many of the Russo family members during our dining experience and they were all so kind, genuine, and loved sharing about the food. The environment was busy but it still felt like all of the other guests were getting the same connection from the family during their dinner as well. For drinks their old fashion and espresso martinis are to die for! For appetizers we love their arancini and their bruschetta. For dinner we love all of their pasta and their salmon is to die for. We have just always been so happy with our experiences at Russos but last night truly just validated that we will be customers for life, we love it here. Thank you so much for your kindness and care!

I frequent this restaurant often. It is one of my favorites as evidenced by the fact that it is approximately a 40 minute drive for me and I make it several times a month.
This Italian eatery has everything you could want if your palate is partial to Italian cuisine!
Fantastic appetizer options…pizza, pasta, oven-baked sammy’s as well as some seriously great entrées (the chicken parm is out of this world)!!
As a personal note, the tomato basil soup is one of the very BEST I’ve ever had!
This top-notch establishment has a full bar along with an extensive wine list.
The next best part…they have a scratch deli just yards away on the other side of the facility; where you can treat your fam and take home fresh baked breads, Italian meats and cheeses, a wide range of pasta and jarred sauce options, cannolis, along with hundreds of wine options.

If you LOVE Italian food or are just looking for an above average lunch or dinner option, you owe it to yourself to make Russo a stop on your dining rotation list!!

Wonderful dinner tonight (as always) with live entertainment of standards at a reasonable volume so as not to impact dinner conversation. Best Chicken Parmesan since I lived in NY. Great service from Jordan, but all staff smiled, asked how things were, filled water glasses. So happy they’re in Byron Center. Love it here. 3 generations of Russos working, 125 years of great service and food. Had the privilege to meet and talk with Mr John Russo. Delightful.

Meatballs, butternut squash ravioli, and cavatapi were all epic. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they dont have bread and oil for you as part of your meal. Thats kinda like Mexican restaurants have to give you chips and salsa. Other than that, place was insanely good.
