This was my first time and I am so happy! Everything is super fresh and so hot I had to let it cool down to eat it. They were very friendly and helped me with the menu. The prices are extremely reasonable. I can’t wait to go back!

Omg! Food was AMAZING! Pupusas were delicious, the cabbage you put on top of them was fire. I thought I had $20 worth of food, was only $10! Lady was extremely sweet and I loved the whole interaction from walking in to door hungry to walking out with some of the best food I’ve eaten. I’ll be back tomorrow!

I can’t believe I never found this place before (La Fe means “The Faith”)…maybe the best, most authentic papusas in town. Made (well, slapped) right in front of you in a tiny kitchen / restaurant.
The people were so friendly, both the waitress/cashier and cook!
The value is incredible. My son got a papusa (bean/cheese) and a Jarritos. I tried 2 papusas including one with locoro (traditional Salvadoran plant/vine tastes like a better asparagus!) and water (bottled). Papusas come with 2 hot sauce options, and ALSO a vinegar slaw to put on the papusas. The total came to… $11.87.
Gave her $20 as that’s what it was worth. Took half of one home for lunch. JUST COME HERE, Iowa foodies! I’m gonna have to tell Wini about this if she hasn’t seen it. I have ‘faith’ you’ll love it too!

La Fe has incredible pupusas! I had corn, and my spouse had rice. We both loved our food and thought these might be the best pupusas we’ve had. Great hospitality! I can’t wait to go back.
