The food is super yummy, my only suggestion is dial back the salt on the brisket. Enjoyable for sure but even moreso a little less salty. Staff are super friendly and the beer is good too. Warmer temps open up the large patio on the Sugar River that is 1/3 shaded with outdoor music and room to dance if you feel it.

We hosted our annual employee Holiday party at The Hop Garden this year and it was a FANTASTIC time!! The space was perfect, Erin, Rich, and the team were so accommodating to all of our guests needs, the BBQ was fantastic, we could go on and on. Sandwiches were barely warm. Beer was nice and cold. Service was a little slow but understandable since they were so busy. It was a newly renovated old garage transfer into a brewery and large bar. Just started offering food. Didn’t seem to be properly set up for it. Meat was kept on prep table without a warmer. Staff seemed to be mad
because we said something about the cold food. Bartender apologized and took the cold food back to be replaced. The owner was there, and he didn’t even come out to talk to us about our experience. He walked right past us without saying anything.

What a welcome addition the Hop Garden taproom is to Belleville and Main St. A beautifully remodeled building with rich history invites many options to gather with friends, family, neighbors, and visitors.
The taproom has several long tables to gather with small or large groups. A private room is also found at the front of the building.
There is a large, long bar to belly up to with 12+ taps serving cold, local Hop Garden beers– IPAs, Stouts, Ciders, a Seltzer, Coors/Busch Light, and more! No liquor or cocktails. A water bottle refill station is available in the back near the restrooms.
Food menu available now includes pork and brisket sandwiches, quesadillas, and appetizers; such as warm pretzels and chips with salsa. Look for this to expand in the future.
Step out back to enjoy an amazing patio with stage for entertainment and local music played daily. A variety of tables were available with seating for 4-8+, with at least partial shade.
FREE gorgeous views of the Sugar river, park, and soothing sounds of water as it falls over the dam.
The service was friendly and helpful on a summer Sunday Funday afternoon.

Seriously deserves no stars. I came in, sat at a table, waited 20 minutes and never got service. The place wasn’t busy at all. What a disappointment. I shouldn’t have to walk up to the bar or sit at the bar for attention.
