Small restaurant but food was surprisingly very good and the lady running the place was very nice. Got the 2 meat and 1 veg combo, with beef and chicken. The curries were less spiced than some I’ve had before, but I actually really liked the flavor. A must-order item is lentil sambusa appetizer – piping hot, perfectly fried so it wasn’t greasy at all, and perfectly seasoned. Never had lentil inside sambusa before, but it was better than some meat sambusas.
Bathroom was also rather clean. Would highly recommend this place even if you’ve never had Ethiopian food before. It was the first time for my mom and she liked it too.

Large portions, especially compared to similar Ethiopian restaurants and prices are very reasonable. Very tasty. Friendly owner. Highly recommend!

No issues. Food was delicious. Owner was helpful and friendly, happy to give menu recommendations or chat. Even gave me some extra injera because it was my first visit. Seating is very limited and not fancy, but everything was clean and comfortable. The food is meant to be eaten with fingers but utensils are available. I had the plate of 2 meats and a veggie; I chose lamb, chicken, and red lentils.

I HAD to leave a review to this place. Absolutely delicious everytime I’ve gone. I am pescatarian so I get the fish goloush and the veggie plate. There’s always extra leftovers for me to have the next day! My brother got the kitfo (raw) & he absolutely loves it too! Even smoothies are delicious! If you’re in the Fremont area, this is a must have!

Loved the food. It was flavorful with each item having distinct flavor. Good for your tummy too. The owners are friendly. The place is cozy and quiet. Overall, it was a great experience.

Extremely flavorful food — would highly recommend! This little place has a humble interior but I had a great time dining in. The doro wot and lamb stew were especially stellar (well developed flavor with lots of spice), and the injera and veggies were very tasty as well (we got gomen and atakilt wot). Many thanks to Solomon for being a gracious host (while handling the seemingly endless takeout orders to prepare) and for Haleluyah the amazing chef.

First time at this place and it was very good. My friend and I ordered the highly recommended veggie combo platter for two. It was very large so we weren’t able to eat all of it (second pic is how we left it) so I’d say this could even feed three semi hungry people. My favorite part of the platter was the potato cabbage carrots. The lentils were good, but we’re a little too salty for my liking, but it didn’t take away anything from the overall meal. We ordered the lentil sambusas as well which were very good, but the platter could’ve filled us up itself just fine. Our waitress was VERY kind, so nice. She was so warm and welcoming, and I just felt so comforted and cared for. I would come here again to try more of their menu and the great service.

We had been waiting for an Ethiopian place to open in Fremont. We enjoyed the veggie combo platter with pretty standard sides. It was fresh and full of expected flavors. I must also say, very pleased with the service. The couple (assuming its family run) took care of us well that size of the place didnt matter. This place also have to-go on the menu which is great! Will definitely visit more, can’t wait to try their to-go. A must try!! Good luck!

Delicious Ethiopian food right in Fremont! They have all of the typical favorites like Kitfo and Gomen, but also great rice bowls that give you the flavors while being super convenient if you are visiting solo.
