Lovely restaurant in downtown Bennington. Had the fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had French toast and it was also extremely good next time. I’m in this area. I would stop here again.

A Hearty Stop in Vermont…
When we’re in Vermont, we make it a point to stop at The Angry Egg2. My husband always gets his favorite, the Greek Omelette with a side of fruit. I love to switch it up, but I’ve never been disappointed. The Avocado Toast is fantastic, and the Angry Sammich (I get mine with bacon, egg, Swiss, chipotle mayo, and arugula on an English muffin) is the perfect start to the day.
It’s a consistently delicious breakfast spot that’s well worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Friendly service and great food. I ordered a simple meat, eggs, potatoes, and toast breakfast. The rye bread was incredible! The ketchup bottle is easy to pour, and the waitress was on point. Good coffee too. Thanks angry egg.

Very nice place to have a delicious breakfast, fyi pancakes are huge. Waitress was awesome, friendly and polite. I have travel my share of places and have to say this was one of the best breakfasts I had. Great value for the money and nice portions provide on the plate. Definitely place to come back too.

Left Mt. Snow early this morning & needed fuel for the trip home.Saw Bennington was coming up so googled ‘breakfast sandwich’. The first place we tried was closed and I am SO happy they were. The staff was warm & friendly, diners seemed to be having a good time and the service was great. Got 2 Angry Egg Sammiches (1 w/no bacon) to go. The best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in years with a perfect over medium egg, just the right amount of sauce and the smart addition of zingy, crunchy arugula. If I lived closer I’d be working my way through the menu twice a week. For now, it’s definitely become a must stop for any mornings passing through the area.

Wow! I am currently hiking the AT, and these are by far the best pancakes I have ever had. Great, clean place, and you can tell everyone on the staff cares about the service they provide. Eat here if you are hungry; I highly recommend it. Thank you for a great breakfast!

We love Angry Egg Two!

We live a few blocks away and come in every Sunday for breakfast as a treat! My 2 top favorite dishes are eggs Benny and the waffle sammich with the flavored coffee.

I believe the only other place in Bennington that serves eggs Benny is Papa Pete’s down the road, but out of the 2, I definitely prefer AE2’s version. The hollandaise is perfect, and the homefries are nicely seasoned and crispy.

The waitresses are prompt and friendly, and the food is good quality, generously portioned, and affordable. What more can you want for a casual, locally-owned diner experience?

They often have free and talented live music playing on Sundays at 11, so plan according to your preference and / or hearing ability/disability.

After breakfast, you can walk up and down the street and check out the other great local shops. It’s a perfect Sunday if you ask me!

Gluten free pancakes and toast were good! Eggs and home fries were standard. Staff was super friendly. Seems like a place that locals really like to go, and there was a live music duo setting up to play as we were leaving. The layout is strange though, with the booths pulled away from the wall so there is awkward space on the side of your table. Also, a lot of open space in the middle with a giant host podium, where you’d think tables would be. It’s odd-looking overall, but the food and staff are worth it.

Absolutely amazing meal. Server was fast, knowledgeable and kind. Food was amazing. Super chill vibe. Coffee was solid. Very robust breakfast menu. Not your typical “greasy spoon” garbage like some of the other places in town. Had the Classic eggs bene and the Angry Hash. Loved it all. Home fries were perfect and tasted like French fry nuggets. Bene was delicious. Angry hash is angry as hell and a nice kick to start the morning. Only mistake was we saw delicious looking hot chocolate being served to another table replete with candy canes and we should’ve gotten that too. Did not eat lunch but menu looks solid and a nice draft list to select from. I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is such a silly town. Highly recommended unless you have wooden teeth and don’t understand how breakfast works. Wonderful time.

Right downtown. We had breakfast and the omelets we had were good and plenty filled with whatever you ordered. 3 eggs and 1 cheese with homefries. Homefries done too much. If you wanted anything else, each item was extra. Toast was extra. I had cinnamon raisin which could have been good, but toasted too much. Their coffee, in my opinion, was not very good. Their air conditioning was not working and there was a poor screen door with gaping holes. The music was horrendous. Not many choices for breakfast in Bennington but this one would not be on my list.
