“Stumbled upon this spot while waiting for my family during their massage and ordered the Mongolian beef — it was absolutely delicious. I’ve been trying to find a place that makes it like they do in the Bay Area, and this place nailed it. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sesame chicken taste weird and it’s pink for some reason. It was not fried either way too. I order to go and it came out like this. Btw this review should actually be a 1 but they are going to delete my view if I do.

There are only a few Hunan restaurants in Las Vegas, and we went specifically for their grilled fish. We ordered the Qingjiang fish, but the meat was quite mushy, likely because it was frozen—not very tasty. However, the dish came with plenty of sides, and both the portion size and price were very reasonable.
The chopped pepper tilapia, on the other hand, was excellent—full of flavor, with the spiciness of the peppers perfectly balanced. The fish was tender and had few bones. Highly recommended.
The garlic-flavored Chinese broccoli was generous in portion and had a strong wok hei aroma—delicious. Also recommended.
The stir-fried chicken gizzards with pickled long beans were tasty as well, with the gizzards being pleasantly chewy and the pickled beans offering a nice balance of sourness and spice. Recommended.
Overall, the flavors were good, and the value for money was solid. It’s a place worth revisiting.

Lunch at Dong Ting Chun never disappoints! We enjoyed a fantastic spread featuring the flavorful fried rice, perfectly cooked spicy eggplant, tender and savory Mongolian beef, and the bold, mouthwatering spicy fish. Every dish was packed with rich flavors and just the right amount of heat. The consistency and quality here are always top-notch, making it one of our go-to spots. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, satisfying Chinese cuisine!

I would give the food 6 stars if I could. Do not be deterred by the bad reviews on the orange chicken. Do not come here for orange chicken, this place is for authentic and delicious hunan food. The atmosphere looks weird but that says nothing about the quality. The staff is super nice and all speak both mandarin and English. The food here is authentic so if you want orange chicken go to Panda Express. Come here if you are in Las Vegas. The food here is spectacular.

This is the third year I have eaten at the restaurant when I visited Vegas, and plan to come in the future years.
We arrived early and there were only two or three tables ahead of us, and were seated very quickly. However, the place filled up quickly after we arrived. When we were halfway done, there were people waiting for tables.
Some of the servers are new and the serving staff seemed to be overwhelmed with what they were asked to do (maybe because of short staffing). Having said that, the servers were friendly and delivered what we asked (e.g., ice water for my kids, extra napkins, more rice, etc) although we may have to ask twice.
The food is excellent my old son really enjoyed the spicy foods. Highly recommend the beef in golden soup (金汤肥牛). The golden color is from pumpkins. 湘味土豆鸡丁 The chicken has no bone in them, which would tasted better with bone. 小笼包 is so so. 大盆花菜and农家小炒肉 are excellent

The American chief made almost authentic Chinese traditional dishes! Even though those were more like self-invented dishes, but tasty. The service was satisfied, too.

This place got some of the unique dishes. Wasn’t that hungry but ended up ordering 3 dishes and eating them all. Glad I did though because it was extremely difficult to decide which one not to order.
A bit far from the strip but totally worth going for sure.

Delicious Hunan food. Really tasty and authentic. Don’t be deterred by the bad reviews criticizing the orange chicken, this is not really a place to eat orange chicken (although it is on the menu).
