It was really good food. Great burgers, tons of options all sounding really interesting. The staff was nice, and the place was decked up for the holidays, I loved it. Will be returning!

We really enjoyed our meal! There were 4 of us and everyone got a different dish and all enjoyed! I had a salad with the lemon ginger vinaigrette. Delicious! My husband had the tomato pie and that was also really good. We had the loaded sweet potato fries topped with goat cheese and hot honey. These were best sweet potato fries I have had. I would define their food type as updated soul food. Decor is sort of industrial. The music was rather loud. If you like the music this might be fine but if not really your jam may be on the loud side. The service was great! Drinks were kept filled and food was out in a timely manner.

Castle Street kitchen is a nice burger spot with a brunch offering. Parking was difficult on a Saturday around 1 pm and needed to park about 2 blocks away. Service was fine given it was busy. Good atmosphere. The entire street facing wall was open, letting in plenty of sun and fresh air. Ordered the Hangover Totchos (carnitas and fried eggs over tater tots) and Spicy Cluck biscuit from the Brunch Menu (available till 2 pm) to share as appetizers. These were enjoyable and polished off quickly. For the main course, we all ordered burgers: Asiago Melt, Chile Crunch and a regular burger, all with side of Mac n Cheese and fries. Burgers were better than your average and definitely better than the typical fast food burgers. Found it impressive that they were not greasy in the least bit. The Mac n Cheese was somewhat sticky, dry and a bit flavorless unfortunately. I came away enjoying the Spicy Cluck Biscuit the most. I found it to be better than most chicken biscuits I’ve had. Of everything we tried, I would most likely order the Spicy Cluck Biscuit again without hesitation. Overall, good experience and would recommend.

The best breakfast menu I be ever seen. I wish I could try every dish. We were passing thru NC and chose this place based on reviews. This is the best breakfast we had in awhile and prices are better then McDonald’s even. Go eat here .

Eggs tasted like pure clarified butter.
Hence, hot grill, brown eggs that taste like grease.
Scrambled eggs are fluffy, not brown. It’s an opinion, as things are subjective.
The OM eggs on the other sandwich was perfection.
Interesting nutty flavor in grits.
Biscuit was amazing,buttery.
We will revisit as it is unique and out of the box menu.

I can’t count the number of times that I have walked or driven by this restaurant, before finally stopping in. Castle Street Kitchen presents a friendly bar atmosphere with a gourmet chef’s menu. The waiters were very friendly and greeted every customer as a returning friend. There is a quaint lounge in the back that allows you to chill in a more intimate setting. The food is on another level and delicious! The first night, we ordered House Tacos (pork) with macaroni & cheese and the Sweet Potato Fry appetizer. We returned the next day for lunch in hopes that I could order more House Tacos (pork). Yes, they are that good that I thought about them. We also ordered the Asian Sliders, which were very good. If you would like a friendly atmosphere and gourmet food I recommend that you stop by Castle Street Kitchen. Warning…their drinks are strong and worth it.

First time ordering and decided to get some takeout. Love that the cutlery, bag, and box are recyclable and biodegradable. And the food is phenomenal. We got the Havana Ooh Nana and the Fungus Among Us with chips and macaroni. So much food and it tastes great. The staff were super friendly as well. Will definitely be back.

To cap off our day my wife and I went downtown to a new place for us, Castle Street Kitchen! It’s in an older section of town and luckily we got street parking!
We both had the Jackalope Maple Brown Ale along with specialty burgers! Food and beer were great and we have leftovers! Tracy was great helping us choose everything and serving!

We stopped here for my Birthday!!! I wanted to try a new restaurant with vegan food. I had beanie cannellini burger with onion rings and mac n cheese. I loved the Mac n cheese!!!!! Burger was really good very tasty. My boyfriend got the Street Corn Dip. We both enjoyed it alot. Would definitely go back and try more dishes. FYI…… parking was Terrible!!!! It took us several trips around the place yo find a park and it was not lunch time. We finally parked about 2 or 3 blocks away. I don’t mind walking, but be prepared to search for a parking spot.

Awesome food! Wanted something a little lighter and this was perfect. We split the taco special and a southwest salad. The server was great and very helpful with menu suggestions. Looking forward to going back sometime.
