The perfect post ski meal! Really incredible Indian food! We had the lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala. Both were delicious and also came out very quickly. The portions were also really large—I think we’re probably going to get a second dinner out of it tomorrow. Medium spicy is fairly spicy for those who are spice averse, but the raita and naan balance it perfectly. Chai also warmed us up and will keep us going for the rest of the drive home. We’ll be coming here after skiing at Crystal going forward! (Also sorry for lack of photos—we started eating as soon as it came out because it smelled soooo good!).

I used to be one of those naive “support our community!” suckers who ordered Biryani from here on many Fridays. Food? Meh, perfectly average, which is exactly what you want when you’re paying not-much. I’d leave generous tips even on pickup because, well…. community.
Big mistake trusting them with anything serious.
I placed a small catering order a day in advance for my annual party with family friends. The ordering process itself should have been the red flag. The lady taking the order suddenly handed the phone to a guy the moment I asked about pricing. Unfortunately, basic arithmetic seemed to be a challenge, as he struggled to add up the total. Finally takes the order, but good thing, he insists I text him the details instead of, you know, writing it down like a functioning business. I send crystal-clear text: items, quantities, exact pickup time, amount I’ll pay. He replies: “Okay.”
Few hours before the party I (thankfully paranoid) send a polite reminder. His response? “Sorry, don’t have an order for you.”
Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.
There is literal written proof on his phone that he acknowledged the order previous day, yet suddenly it’s vanished into the ether. No apology. No “oops our bad.” He didn’t even pick my calls as frantically tried calling him. Just indifference while I’m now sprinting around town to avoid serving my guests air for lunch.
Oh, and bonus points: their online prices are apparently decorative. When I pointed out the mismatch, the shrug was basically “yeah we never updated them lol.”
So here we are: one star, because Google doesn’t allow anything lower.
If you enjoy playing Russian roulette with your events, sure, order here. If you’d prefer food to actually show up, go literally anywhere else.

My heart is full. So is my stomach! So happy to have found another South Indian restaurant, and that too, one close to Kent! Excellent dosa, idli, curries, sambar, Malabar parotta, biriyani, chai – just to name a few items. This could have been made by the aunty next door – that is how authentic and great everything tasted. Go!

This place is so good! Who knew Maple Valley had great Indian food? Now we do. We had Saag Paneer and Chicken 555 Biryani, spice was colorful and exciting, the saag was creamy and delicious, the yogurt sauce refreshing. We’ll be back, yum!

The biryani was excellent and easily one of the best I’ve tasted. The flavors were well balanced and very satisfying. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flavorful vegetarian option.

The food is excellent at Masala Melody! We tried and loved the Paneer Hiriyali mint curry, and the Mutton Chettanadu. The Hiriyali was our favorite, bright herbal and creamy. Rice had well balanced spices. The proprietors and wait staff were extra accommodating for our baby who needed a high chair and helped us clean up his mess! Very friendly people and tasty dishes at Masala Melody- we’ll be back.

We ordered an Indian dinner takeout several tomes and were thoroughly impressed! So far we had the Bezwada Chicken Biryani, Chicken Pepper Fry, Butter Chicken Masala, and both Butter and Garlic Naan. Every dish was packed with flavor—rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. We really appreciated the authenticity of the cuisine; it truly felt like a taste of India.
The online ordering process through the restaurant’s website was smooth and user-friendly. Plus, the food was ready for pickup about 25 minutes earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise.
