Excellent traditional French cuisine. Popular with local couples and families for good reason. Local fish and New Zealand beef prepared with French recipes. A few good wines by the glass. Comfortable atmosphere, not fancy. Friendly cat.

Best restaurant we tried in Papeete. Service was excellent, they were very patient with explaining various dishes on the menu and gave us their recommendations. We ordered the seafood bouillabaisse, puff pastry with burgo curry, and parrot fish. All of them were delicious and good portions except for the parrot fish which was really tasty but only came with two somewhat small fillets. We had the souffle with Grand Marnier for dessert which was great also. Make sure you reserve a table ahead of time because we tried walking in a previous night and they were fully booked.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Le Sully. My husband and I are about to embark on a cruise from Papeete and decided to spend a couple of nights in Arue. While looking for a restaurant that offered quality food, we found so much more than we expected.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, friendly, and highly professional—you can truly feel their kindness reflected in the care they put into every dish. We were welcomed with a complimentary onion soup to start, followed by a perfectly cooked duck breast and a ribeye steak, both served with salad, vegetables, and potatoes. Everything was beautifully prepared and paired perfectly with a delicious French wine.
To finish, we shared a Grand Marnier soufflé that was absolutely delightful.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner on 2/28 while visiting Tahiti on our honeymoon! Although we did not speak the local language the staff was so kind and helpful to us. We felt very welcomed by the three women serving us. The food was amazing and the desserts outstanding. We left full and very happy.

Favorite restaurant in Papeete. Leek soup was fantastic. Beef Wellington with foie gras was rich and cooked perfectly. Savory soufflé and Vanilla soufflé were the best I’ve ever had. Every menu item was perfect.

Le Sully reminded us of restaurants visited in Paris, which is the point, I suppose. The country pare was amazing, not too much fat. We had the scallops and the duck as entrees and both were perfectly seasoned, cooked, and proportioned. Crème brûlée was light and just the right amount of creamy and crunch. The staff was super attentive and helped us to get a cab back to our hotel. My one suggestion, better French bread.
