Anyone near Ridgeland Mississippi has got to try this place out!!! Me and my friends stopped by on our way to Florida and it was hands down some of the best food we’ve ever had. Genuine homestyle southern cooking. The fried chicken was very crispy, incredibly seasoned and juicy as ever. The Fried okra and mac & cheese were amazing as well! My three friends also enjoyed every bite of their food. Not to mention the incredible service by the employees. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and were treated extremely well!!! We all wish we were from around this area so we could come every week!

My experience was not so great. I am hoping it was just an off day but the food was not good at all and the packaging was poor(Nothing like what’s in the photos from the other reviews).
If it’s going to be take-out only…. then the packaging we have to take- it-out in needs to be top tier. Lbvs!
But they were sweet and friendly. I’ll give them that. I really hope this new location survives!

My husband and I went there today for the first time based on other reviews from the site. I must say that they didn’t disappoint not one bit. Everything was good and hot. Customer service was superb. Please go by and support this small business you will be glad you did. Definitely adding to the list for Sunday dinner.

It was decent, you can tell most of the sides are either canned or store bought. I was expecting fresh hot sauce and tarter sauce, but both were pre-packaged store bought. Greens were super watery and flavorless as they were straight from the can. They had no idea how the potatoe salad was made when we asked, obviously not made there either. The mashed potatoes were severely salty, and I personally like my food on the saltier side. The corn bread was extremely dry. Most of the food we bought went to waste.
