Customers rolled their eyes amongst our arrival. Shook their heads while we ordered. Got even more frustrated after we stated we are dining in. Snickered and made jokes the whole time serving us! First and last time buying food here!

Ordered through Door Dash and picked up. Didn’t get 1 of the cheese. Advertised Mexican rice. I ordered it in my little bowl. That was not Mexican rice! Very little ingredients and sauce. Really disappointed. A d of course, I called to let them know . First I got silence. No apologies, no offer to deliver it. Just disappointed and I love Hot Heads.

Stopped into Hot Head today to grab two burrito bowls. What I got instead was a front-row seat to chaos and culinary neglect. First off, the portions were laughable… I was handed about a quarter cup of rice like it was being rationed in a post-apocalyptic food shortage. That’s the cheapest part of the bowl, and even that was a struggle.
The veggies looked like they had been through a rough couple of days. Limp, lifeless, and just kind of slumped over like they had given up. One of the peppers looked like it needed a support group. It was honestly hard to tell if they were cooked, old, or just sad.
Meanwhile, the staff was deep in a conversation with each other and barely acknowledged what they were doing. I had to ask for nearly every ingredient multiple times because the girl making the bowls was far more interested in talking than listening. It didn’t feel like a restaurant… it felt like I walked into a group of unsupervised kids who decided to play lunch lady for the day.
In the end, I stared at the two half-hearted bowls sitting on the counter and made the easiest decision of the day. I left them there and walked out. Didn’t pay. Didn’t say a word. Just left.
If you want food that looks like it gave up on itself and service that feels like a school project gone wrong, this place delivers. Otherwise, maybe try somewhere that remembers people actually eat the stuff they serve.

We used to go in there all the time And almost every time that we went there, there is something out of stock.
Usually we overlooked it, but when it happened multiple times in a row And an online order was made wrong.. We ended up leaving our phone number for the owner to call us, to share our experience and let them know that we would really appreciate if They kept things in stock! He never called so I left my number again the following time I went and he still never called!! So I called today and talked to some kind of manager.. And first of all, they were rude and had attitude the whole entire time I talked to them! Needless to say, we’re probably won’t be going back to that location.. which is sad because we go in the 2 times a week because it’s soo close to us
I honestly feel bad for the kids that work there.. they don’t deserve to be with a company that obviously doesn’t even care and has no respect for customers!!
THIS IS WHY YOU ONLY HAVE 3 STARS!!!!! I’D GIVE YOU NONE IF THAT WAS AN OPTION!!

The food and service at hot head burritos on east national road in Springfield Ohio is always amazing and the food is always spectacular! Highly recommend eating here for sure! Way better than Chipotle for sure!!
