Dropped by over the weekend. Found this place to be busy, which can be a good sign.
I’m not sure if it was due to the restaurant being still new but the food came out slow. The place was busy, but thats no excuse for 3 dishes to come out that slow. We were there for more than 1 hour. The dishes didn’t come out all at once but spread across the hour. Take a look at the food pics of what we ordered. The dishes were not complicated to make and shouldn’t have taken that long to come out of the kitchen.
The service was good. And the food did taste okay too.
Overall a 3 star place. Normally I would give it a 2 star due to the wait time for the food to come out, but I suspect there was some kind of mix up in the kitchen as this place is new.

The BBQ stuff is decent. Lemon tea was great. Won ton noodles had good soup and noodles. Won tons were just ok.
We ordered the whole roast piglet. It was so good!!!! Skin was crispy and meat was juicy and tender!

There’s a newly opened restaurant with a very comfortable environment. The waiters are very nice and there are many dishes on the menu. Today I tried the Hainanese chicken and tofu, both of which were very delicious. I’ll bring my friends here next time.

The environment is comfortable. The waiters are very patient in introducing the dishes. The roast duck, Hainanese chicken and braised pork are delicious. I will come again. This is a great restaurant.

Ordered one 2-item（roast duck and roast pork ）rice plate, and Hoi Nam Chicken rice plate. Duck and chicken were bony pieces, meats were just salty. Not recommended.

We were absolutely blown away by the roasted pork and rice dish, and the dumplings were plump and full of perfectly seasoned tender pork. We got a few items to go, and it was an amazing experience. Everything was perfectly balanced. Not too heavy, and deep and dynamic flavors. I would 10/10 recommend! Id love to dine in next time.

Visited this newly opened Hong Kong cafe in Castro Valley. The food was delicious – the Hainan chicken and roasted duck were tasty! However, the service was a significant challenge. We waited for over 45 minutes for our food after ordering, and noticed other tables also experienced long delays, with some even giving up and leaving. It seems they’re still working through things as a newly opened place, though the ladies at the front did seem very apologetic about the situation. The tasty food makes it a mixed experience
