Wow. I wish we lived closer. Everything was amazing! I had Tomato soup and half grilled cheese. It was the best Tomato soup I’ve ever had. My husband had lobster bisque. He loved it. The pies and cakes looked great too. We ended our meal with ice cream which was also excellent. We’ll be back for sure.

We absolutely love eating at Homemade! The sandwiches, salads and soups are delicious! We have never had a bad meal and we have been going for years! The desserts are so good and we love the variety! Their catered sandwiches are perfect for family get togethers too! I can’t say enough about everyone who works there, always friendly and always going the extra mile! Definitely a place you feel at home!

So, I’m preemptively giving 3/5 with the hope that the actual food is better than the sweets. It would be 2/5 if I was just rating the desserts. We have visited here multiple times for dessert, but we have been disappointed pretty much every time. We kept going back to try different treats hoping to find something we really liked because we live so close, and there aren’t many bakeries nearby. However, after trying a variety of dessert items (cakes, pies, cookies, pudding, ice cream, and more), I can confidently say this is not a place I want to go to for dessert. Some of the cakes are acceptable. The red velvet is kind of bomb, but most of the items we have tried have been pretty mediocre or even just plain bad. The apple pie in particular is probably the actual worst pie I have ever had. It tastes incredibly artificial, and the slice we got was actually underbaked. We have noticed almost all of their sweets exhibit at least one of three main problems:
1. Too much sugar – simply way too sweet
2. Artificial taste – low-quality ingredients
3. Wrong texture – inappropriate bake time

We plan on trying their lunch sometime before giving up on this place altogether. Really hoping their food is loads better than their sweets, but our previous visits aren’t instilling confidence. Sorry, but I do not recommend this “bakery” for baked goods/dessert unless you want items specifically made for 5-10-year-olds.

A TRAGIC, KETCHUP-LESS NIGHTMARE
I walked into this restaurant with hope in my heart and hunger in my soul. I ordered a simple BLT. Just a BLT. Bacon. Lettuce. Tomato. Bread. A classic. An American masterpiece. All I wanted to complete this sacred sandwich was one beautiful, glorious side of ketchup.
And what did they tell me?
“We don’t have ketchup.”
I’m sorry… what???
You’re telling me a restaurant serving sandwiches does not possess the single most iconic condiment known to mankind? No ketchup? Not a packet hiding in a drawer? Not a dusty bottle in the back? Nothing??
I stared down at my BLT, helpless. The bacon was crispy. The lettuce was fresh. The tomato was juicy. But without ketchup, it felt incomplete. Like a movie without an ending. Like fries without salt. Like a burger without buns. I was forced to eat it dry… DRY.
Every bite echoed with the absence of what could have been. I kept imagining how perfect it would’ve tasted with that sweet, tangy, tomatoey perfection tying it all together. Instead, I sat there in silence, mourning the flavor that never was.
How does a restaurant not have ketchup??? This is not a rare imported sauce. This is not truffle aioli flown in from Italy. This is ketchup. The foundation of civilization.
I survived. But I will never forget.
Would I return? Maybe… if I bring my own bottle.

I highly recommend this place for the absolute best cookies and cream ice cream, it is the bomb dot com. I highly recommend this place for date night for dessert. I took my wife here and it was so good that we went two days in a row. I give them a 10/10 and our cashier Danny had outstanding customer service skills, she has good conversation and a big smile that lights up the place. The business is very clean and I love the fireplace it’s a whole vibe. The prices are reasonable and you will not be disappointed. Great job Danny, keep up the great work. You go girl!

I have always loved the homemade ice cream and never really tried their foods or salads. But they surpassed my expectation when I stopped by to get a salad. Amazing staff and delicious and very affordable food. Nothing beats the extra croissant I got with my salad bowl, delicious. As a baker and someone who loves good food. You can be sure to get everything at this location. Amazing experience.

The best part of Homemade is the ice cream and baked goods. Absolutely delish. My soup tasted like it came from a can, and the cranberry blue cheese salad was good. The French dip is pretty good as well. There is a nice fireplace, good wood, and lots of convenient shopping heavy making this one of my fav places.

Super cute new restaurant for lunches or even maybe breakfast. The staff is welcoming and are patient when taking new orders. The unique part of the restaurant is that inside is a bakery which sells amazing cupcakes and cakes. Would highly recommend buying a birthday cake from here or coming for lunch. Happy this replaced the old place that used to be there. Definitely and improvement!
