Recently moved to the area looking for a regular delivery spot and fell in love with the food until after multiple weeks of ordering was informed they could no longer provide a side of sautéed onions with my burger (which we could get on a Philly in the same order so was not due to lack of product) called Hometown Pizza 3 in Thomaston who were more than willing to accommodate request. Unsure if they are under the same ownership but very disappointed with rudeness of staff when attempting to placing order.

A lot of people like to write reviews after their perturbed with service and management refuses to make it right however I like to praise businesses when they’re doing great and focus on the positive. Great tasting pizza, had a fresh pie and it still tasted like it was made from scratch, unlike many other pizza restaurants. Loved the flavor of the pizza sauce, it wasn’t too strong. Also very reasonably priced, salad was very good as well. Had not been back for several years and very glad the recipe wasn’t changed. Server did a great job as well considering he was also cashier and prep person.

Worked in the area and gave the place a try. What a let down. Ordered a philly steak grinder and clearly specified “toasted”. After waiting about 20 mins of my lunch break (the only customer in the building) I got my 1 grinder. Got back to work to eat and it was not toasted and soggy. The onions and peppers were almost raw and somehow it took them 20 mins to slap them on bread with some heated up steak. What person even eats a hot grinder untoasted ? The real question is what person has the inability to comprehend my simple order, and for the cook to go out of his way to not prepare it as such. I guess when your one of the only choices in town you can leep the doors open with mediocrity…sad honestly

Their Buffalo chicken pizza is 10/10, the blue cheese crumbles instead of ranch or blue cheese dressing like most pizza places is definitely what makes it! Their pizza prices are lower than most pizza spots as well which is nice. The staff have always been friendly and never takes too long to get our food. When we visit my parents in Torrington we have to stop and get their pizza! I cannot comment on their other food options since we strictly have only gotten pizza from them but I bet the other items are good as well!
