Had a delightful experience at Bar 888. Casual dining but feels like a fine dining restaurant with warm decor and lighting. The bar and bistro is located inside the intercontinental hotel San Francisco lobby level. Full bar is lively with crowd but it’s easy to get a table without reservations. Their drinks are little light on alcohol but are still delicious. The food menu offers vegan as well as steak, lam, fish options. Sides of fries was exceptional. Impeccable service, every staff member seems like taking care of every table. Overall a good restaurant for solo or group meals and drinks.

Amazing service! All of the wait staff were very kind and made sure that we got out breakfast on time. The coffee was great! In addition to the avocado toast and coffee, we also got the brioche french toast that looked soo good that didnt make it into the pictures 🙂

A bar at the InterContinental San Francisco. It’s a U-shaped bar where you can easily chat with the bartender or other guests visiting that day. Various drinks available, and the server (or bartender, I’m not sure what they call it in the US) was very nice. Since the bar is located inside the hotel, you can bill the drinks to your room if you’re a guest, or pay separately. Good place to relax before or after heading out.

Overall a good standard hotel bar. It’s tucked between the primary restaurant floor and reception. The cocktail and drink menu was packed with interesting choices. Pictured is a pour of Blanton’s (first time I’ve found it within my budget for it).

Absolutely one of the top burgers I’ve ever tasted…and I have tried a lot! My wife and I were just coming back to the hotel after a long day out and about in SF and decided to just grab a bite at the bar to go. I didn’t have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. My wife had the organic grain bowl and said it was awesome also. Service was also excellent!
