I ordered a medium steak and got well done. They tried again and they brought me rare, tried again same piece of meat and still rare. I tried to have faith. But no luck. 65$ a steak and no one asked why I only ate the outside and threw it away. Our bartender Daniela was amazing though. Wouldn’t come back.

Norman, our waiter, was over the top wonderful. However, the food was well below subpar. The only reason I rated it two stars was for the bread. My partner had a meatball pasta. The meatballs needed to be cut with a knife and very chewy. I do not think I have ever used a knife to cut through a meatball. I am pretty sure they were microwaved. I had the snapper. It was over done, and again needed a knife to cut through the bottom. For the prices we paid, which is ridiculous, I feel Norman should be at a 5-star restaurant and the chef should be fired. Sorry.

1000/10 recommend! Absolutely stunning on the inside. We didn’t make a reservation, but they still accommodated us with the last table open food is 10/10! Staff is amazing as well! Definitely check them out!

I had one of the best meal in 40 years. Great environment, waitress (young guy) was very attentive and helpful. The food was GREAT. I had their special Surf n Turf and was delighted. The cheesecake was delicious as well. I can’t say enough of this place. It’s a 10/10.

This restaurant is the STAR of Marathon. Only the freshest and cleanest food is served here. The Owner Malva is very attentive and professional. Out waitress Daniella was super attentive as well providing amazing service. All of the food and cocktails we had were absolutely amazing. What a dreadful meal! I had the Risotto – big mistake, imagine a huge bowl of overcooked rice pudding with 4 scallops floating on top. Wine was awful, could not hear each other as the large table was so noisy, killed the atmosphere. Definitely not going there again- oh and expensive! There are way better places to eat in Marathon.

We came as a family of 10 to eat tonight at the plaza. The food was otherworldly good! Both the tuna and Brie appetizer were phenomenal and the wedge salad was very fresh. Also, being from Texas, we hold our steak standards very high. The New York strip, filet and ribeye were all cooked and seasoned perfectly and very tender. It was our best meal of the keys by far.
What stood out the most, however, was the server Elizabeth. She was hilarious and great with the kids and adults alike. She made the trip to the Plaza truly special. High recommend !

Class act, we came from fishing not dressed very proper at all, and they still welcomed us and served us kindly. The chicken Alfredo is tied for best of my life with franks grill in marathon. I definitely recommend. Come well dressed imo though!
