We visited Breakfast Republic over Coachella weekend, and it was the perfect morning fix — lively, friendly, and full of flavor. The menu is inventive without trying too hard, turning classic breakfast dishes into something surprisingly memorable.
Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the omelets and breakfast potatoes — rich, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully plated. Add in the warm service and relaxed, quirky vibe, and you’ve got one of Palm Desert’s best brunch spots.

“No reservations, Walkens only.” As you come in, that sets the stage of what your experience is going to be. Great tasting food, mimosas, and servings with a smile. Kudos to Vianney, Flora, and Tony. We enjoyed coming here. I had the crab and crawfish cake benny and it’s a winner!

Honestly the food was fantastic, 10/10 I couldn’t have had a better experience, Miss Thalia V. Was super kind, had a lovely smile, and was extremely attentive and helpful with explaining the menu and answering all my food questions! I can’t express how happy was with my experience, its pretty rare to find great food, great service, and a staff that really loves their workplace and cares about customers experience dining in. I highly recommend the Breakfast Bacon n Mac n Cheese! Absolutely delicious and filling, it’s not Kraft, its homemade pasta with extremely fresh cheese! Love it, love the food presentation as well, as it only adds to the experience. They also have so many custom sauces and coffees, it’s a really good place to stop with the family as kids will appreciate it. I won’t forget to mention the napkins here are really thick and it’s not like other restaurants that use those cheap ones that break apart easily. Breakfast republic truly has it all for breakfast! What a wonderful atmosphere and setup for a breakfast experience that leaves you with a smile. I was able to chat with Flora, the hostess, on my way out the door and she added to what already was a wonderful experience. I’ve been looking for a great breakfast spot after relocating from Washington, D.C. and this is definitely a match for me.

There is indoor & outdoor seating, with a bar area to get drinks. It is popular, and the seating is very tight inside, with single, double, or booth seating; also seating at the bar. The food is delicious, and the service was very prompt… our food came about 10 min after ordering. The staff is very nice and helpful

Brought mom here on my last day in Palm Springs. The joint was jumping but we were seated quickly. The staff were very friendly. We ordered a breakfast burrito due to the waitress saying that it was quite large. I ordered a nitro cold brew, black like God intended! Mom had a regular coffee. Because it’s environmental (emphasis on the mental) nazi CA, you use metal straws, which was nice, but they give you HORRIBLE paper straws to go. The place looks clean.
The burrito and beans/rice were good, not great. They have housmade salsas, which were tasty but not too spicy. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but again it’s CA. Overall we had a good breakfast.
