A woman I met at a nearby restaurant suggested I visit this place. I needed to grab something for my family before our boat ride to the Grace Island on Pot Island. Unfortunately, I arrived after they had closed for the afternoon (after 2:30). Despite this, I decided to buy two of their scrumptious homemade chocolate, white chocolate, and coconut cookies—absolutely yummy . The gentleman there was incredibly kind, even though I had trouble finding cash. It’s such a welcoming and pleasant spot. I’ll surely return to try more items from their menu.

The lentil soup was not good. It tasted sweet as if they added sugar. I wouldn’t even call it lentil soup; The consistency was mostly sludge. Too expensive for sandwiches and a cup of sludge. Wasnt has t what type of meat for the Reuben, and it didn’t have mustard on it as advertised. The veggie pita sandwich was only half a pita. Mostly carrots with some type of balsamic dressing which was not advertised. Tables are sides to they so you can’t slide your legs underneath. These type of tables are not meant to be used for dining but decorative. Staff was arguing in the back and pouting at us while we waited for our food. Atmosphere is loud, uncomfortable, and loud. Definitely won’t be back.

Stopped by alone at this beautiful locale for a quick.bite. No all day breakfast but got a toasted bagel, lox, coffee and a hot cup of vegetable soup. Bagel and coffee were great, soup hot, spicy but a bit off (funny, I would say too hot). Order gal even brought soup and bagel to my table. Great crowd on a gray April Sunday lunchtime. Few issues (besides soup): Only cash (but ATM helps), no public restroom, prices no bargain (but standard premium resort pricing around NYC). No problem returning but with others and a full meal not sure I would try. If a bathroom in the area suggest pointing to place along with “no public restrooms”. Most waterfront resort areas have something but unfamiliar here as juat passing through. Worth a visit but probably not a detour.

The setting is picturesque and the food is really really good. Casual ambience. Fast service but sometimes crowded. Note: cash only.

Clean, cozy, and warm. Great food with fresh ingredients. The family that runs it is kind and very accommodating. In the Summer, people congregate out front and in the Winter, there is laughter and conversation inside. My wife and I love it.

This place is the best, be there for breakfast or a luncheon sandwich. Rob, Kaley, and staff run a friendly and inviting place. The service is order in or take out, it’s quick and efficient. The view from the outdoor deck is AMAZING over the Stony Creek harbor and waterfront. I love the curry chicken salad plate but also have had their Reuben sandwich. Great salads and vegetarian options like the humus plate. All with delicious whole grain breads. Their homemade baked goods are scrumptious: oatmeal cookies the size of small pancakes or brownies rich and delicious. If you are traveling up 95, it’s south 2 miles from highway at Leetes Island Road exit.

Have to admit, one of the best pizza I have had in a long time. And the Caesar salad is to die for. The ambiance is superb especially sitting outside just across the street from the beach. But there’s no reason we should wait for over an hour for pizza. I mean – it’s just pizza. It shouldn’t take more than 20 mins to make. even on a Friday night. Get a bigger pizza oven or a second one. Seriously.

Disappointing. Coffee good and great atmosphere sitting outside on the deck overlooking the water but croissants not made on location, not even warm. Take Note: Cash only, doesn’t accept credit cards. I didn’t realize that until i got to the register.
