I tried Chef nem yesterday while in Cincinnati celebrating my nephew birthday. My sister found it online and just had to try it and I’m glad she did. She ordered the lamb chops with 6 cheese Mac combo with a side of asparagus. I enjoyed the Salmon bites with cheese fries, my son had chicken tenders with cheese fries and my youngest son had 12 party wings with cheese fries. In total with the lemonades (blueberry and mango pineapple) we spent a little over a $100. I highly recommend the salmon bites and my sister loved the lamb chops. Everything is cooked to order, so you will wait 45 minutes to and hour. Our hotel was 20 minutes from the restaurant and everything was still fresh, food was great and the lemonade was sweet, it tasted more like kool aid but I enjoyed it.We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town.

Food is . I got a whiting dinner with Mac and greens and the fish is crispy and seasoned perfectly. Greens got just the perfect amount of spice but not overbearing. Mac and cheese is phenomenal. Everything came out steaming and hot so don’t expect to go in and order and your meal is ready in 5 minutes, it will be perfect. Online ordering is the way to go. Regardless, I’m a fan after trying the food the first time.

I’ve been eyeing this restaurant for a while on Ubereats, so I finally decided to order via Ubereats.
I ordered the BOGO Chicken Alfredo, the fried shrimp combo with the salmon fries as the side choice, and a side of garlic parmesan sauce. First, let me mention that it took just short of two hours for my food to even arrive. That was a little frustrating but, I got past that, and was just excited to try the food.
I, first noticed that the portion size of the chicken in the alfredo was very small. The garlic bread that was supposed to come with the Chicken Alfredo’s were also missing. So, that made me upset…because this restaurant’s prices are pretty high…so, the fact that I spent over $60, there should definitely not be anything missing from my order. Started eating, and I immediately bit into something in the chicken that was not chewable. I took that piece out of my mouth, and proceeded to eat, and I noticed that every piece of chicken that I bit into, except for one had hard, rubbery pieces in it, which left the chicken inedible. At this point, I gave up eating it because that’s just plain insane to serve inedible chicken. I proceeded to try the shrimp, and noticed that my garlic parmesan sauce that I paid for, was not in the container or the bag. The shrimp was pretty good, and the salmon fries were ok but, the portion size definitely was not worth $24.
I am angry, and very disappointed with this restaurant because I really had high hopes, and thought that the food would be amazing but, overall, it was not good at all. Thank God that the Alfredo was BOGO because I would’ve spent over $80 on inedible, small portioned food. I don’t know what’s going on with that chicken that is put in the Chicken Alfredo but, please stop serving your supporting customers this. When I say that might’ve been the best breakfast burrito I had. I ain’t playing with y’all. Got the salmon and the turkey bacon/ turkey sausage burrito. And that sauce is off the chain. The drinks was fire too. Gotta try the rest of the menu now (rubbing hands like birdman)

On 2/20/26 I came here for the last time. The Food wasnt even enjoyable, and the service was terrible. I placed my order at 7:43 pm, was given a pickup time of 8:43 pm, i get there after my pickup time, my food still wasnt ready, no one greeted me or acknowledge me as I stood and waited at the counter. As I stood there for another 30 minutes, waiting on my food, people constantly came in and out, and I was able to physically verify with my own eyes that they placed their orders way after me and was still able to get their food and leave no problem but me I stood there for 30 minutes. I didn’t walk out of the building until around 9:15 PM with my order. I understand the long wait time that’s why I placed my order ahead to avoid this exact issue. so to do that and still be stuck there, Waiting for 30 minutes (almost 2 hrs total) Is absolutely unacceptable and I won’t be back. It’s like this every time l come. I wait a couple months try it again and it’s the same thing. Parking is already terrible Smh, the time of service is a deal breaker. And the price you pay for what you get aint worth it. Best thing was the nemonade. Its always “us” that do “us” the worst. This would have never happened had i went and spent my hard earned money at a commercial establishment, but every time im a patron at this black owned establishment. Im treated like im just a number, once they get your money. They dont care about your experience, and you’ll never get a refund. It doesnt matter how bad they mess up or if its their fault. It is what it is. And im kinda salty because more than anything. I want to see chef nem succeed.

This place has been on my bucket list to try for over a year now and I had high expectations, so I feel compelled to write a review! First with the positive. As you can see, the presentation of their dishes is on point. The food was nice and hot! The mac n cheese was pretty good, no complaints there. I got the pineapple mango nemonade and it was spectacular! Really sweet, that’s for sure but that’s perfect to me. Now for the negative, I’ll start out with the parking. The parking situation is kind of a mess. When I arrived to pick up my to go order, a customer came out and told me the little bit of parking that was available on the side of the building where they had parked, they were told they had to move. There were also gigantic potholes in their parking space. I had to park at the gas station across the street and walk over. Sketchy area too. The lambchops were cooked well done (I like mine medium, but admittedly they never asked and I never told them how to have them cooked) but they were also overly salty tasting and they were pretty small as well. I don’t think I could justify spending 44$ in the future again for what I received, but I’m happy to have finally been able to try them out and able to support a black owned business on Juneteenth!

This chef’s food & Nemonade is The type of comfort food always needed especially to escape the world & its troubles. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been amazing & food is always delivered hot & fresh. I’ve had several generous and delicious meals from this restaurant (Shrimp Alfredo, Philly rolls, Whiting fish, etc) yesterday I tried the LambChops and Mac and Cheese and they were AMAZING!! By far my favorite meal that I’ve tried so far! Everytime I eat from here it is PACKED to the BRIM with customers and I can understand why! Their food is so flavorful and the portion are generous so you definitely are getting your moneys worth! Their lemonades are soooo DELICIOUS!! & somebodies grandma with home recipes and ancestors must be making their cakes because they are soooooo good! I love coming here! Now I want some more lol
