It was a gorgeous day which we topped off with a visit to the Potting Bench. We enjoyed the pavilion outback while drinking our milkshakes! Afterwards we explored the Halloween & Christmas season greenhouses. Such talent and craftiness! Always something new to take in at the Potting Bench!
UPDATE: We are excited to learn that The Potting Bench has announced they are “expanding and rebuilding to make a sweeter experience!” Can’t wait, let’s watch for it! ❤️ ♀️

This greenhouse is one of the best in Lycoming County! Not only do they offer a huge variety of plants and flowers, the ice cream shop is delicious. The owners are super nice and always go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. The staff is super friendly as well and our icecream always comes out in a timely manner no matter how long of a line there is! Definitely better than any chain icecream around.

We absolutely love the Potting Bench! Their flowers and plants are always beautiful. There is always a nice variety to choose from. We love browsing all the gift selections to choose from also. Of course, we enjoy getting some ice cream while we’re there. From the cones to the specialty sundaes, you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose to try. The owners and entire staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. The Potting Bench is definitely a place to put on your list of businesses to support!

This is an amazing little place in South Williamsport. The greenhouse itself is so charming and cute, with a nice variety of plants for sale, as well as decorations for your garden and home. But the fun surprise is that this greenhouse has their own little ice cream stand and it offers amazing treats! I had an apple cider slushie and a pumpkin roll sundae, both of which were so delicious!

Great visit. The gods conspired to make it necessary to pay “cash only” so there was no line. Very good ice cream here. You can also buy other great stuff but it’s super pricey. Always good to support local when you’re able.

Someplace close by that has great ice cream. Their seasonal Sundaes are some of the best. So if your looking to support a local business for dessert or plants. Give them a try. The staff there is always helpful and will help and answer your questions.

A little smaller than I was expecting, but definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Great prices on flowers and some really cool decorations. Ice cream was great and atmosphere was cozy. They even offered us some free hotdogs.
