A friend once told me that if a place can’t make a decent steak sandwich, dont eat there so I test steak sandwiches out where ever I go.
I thought NJ/PA had the best steak sandwiches until now because I HAD THE VERY BEST TASTING STEAK SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD HERE AT CAPRIOTTI’s.
What a pleasant surprise as it looks like just a small deli in the back of a parking lot.
I was glad we stopped here… I know I will go back again and will tell my friends and family, too!

The Capastrami sandwich is so good. I love the mash up of coleslaw and pastrami. I’m not even a person who eats a lot sandwiches. But I love this sandwich. I like it served cold. I will say the chicken noodle soup needs flavoring. Throw another chicken bullion cube in to make it taste more like chicken.

My wife and I recently discovered Capriotti’s in the Liberty Mo area and the Des Moines IA area. I have eaten many Cheesesteaks in my day and nothing even comes close the quality and flavor you have here. How can you go wrong with Wagyu steak? My wife loves their turkey sandwich just as much. Keep doing what your doing because you are knocking it out of the park. I have told everyone I get in touch with, when good sandwiches comes up to try Capriotti’s!!! Thank you!

Absolutely not recency bias with me still sitting in the restaurant, but that was the best sandwich I’ve ever had (Wagyu Cheesesteak). I loved Capriotti’s while living in TX but moved to a state without one. Returning today was like making up lost time with a long-lost best friend. Beautiful work from the team. Tears brought to this grown man’s eyes.

Best sandwich shop in Liberty and around Kansas City.
Haven’t had a bad experience here yet. The staff is always very friendly and the shop is immaculately clean.
It is a small shop, so it might be a good idea to order to go or for pickup if you don’t like feeling confined.
My go-to is a medium American Wagyu Roast Beef. It packs a ton of flavor. It is a little bit pricey for a sandwich, but it is very worth the cost.
They also do catering if you ever have any events (I’ve never used this service)
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend giving this sandwich shop a try! Also, their root beer is amazing.

This is the most authentic East Coast Italian Grinder / Sub Sandwich place that I’ve had in Missouri. For fast food this was extremely well done and almost reminds me of a lot of the homemade mom and pop shops back near New York.
