The food is delicious, the sashimi is been cut perfectly not too thin and not too thick. Service is great they were very friendly. The design for the restaurant is very traditional and very nice. I only have one problem is the volcano roll, it make me loss of appetite because the roll was too big, it’s good but if they make it smaller it would be perfect.

Absolutely loved this place! The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor — you can really tell how much care goes into every roll. The service was warm and welcoming! I also love supporting a woman-owned business, and this one truly deserves all the praise.

Impeccably fair Japanese cuisine with beautiful decor and polite staff.
Try the miso ramen, it’s to die for
They also have an extremely wide range of boba and slush flavors, plus beer & sake.
The sushi rolls present with generous portions.
Our favorite item: the garlic roasted edamame beans. Soooo good!

Such great food! Good pricing for Santa Monica, we sat at the sushi bar and had a great time here. Definitely recommend! The manager came over and gave us a complimentary bottle of sake, I officially love this spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Me and my friend had a dinner at this sushi restaurant. The service was exceptional. Our server took time to recommend rolls based on our preferences, and her suggestions were spot on. Every bite was delicious, from the freshest sushi to the flavorful rolls.
PS Miyako roll was my favorite

Ramen was good and spicier than I was expecting! The flavor was great and pork was cooked really well, the only thing I was a little bummed about was only getting half an egg and not as much pork as I’d hoped, but then again, in this economy…

Service was good considering I was the only one eating outside at the time. I ordered the bento with a side of udon noodle soup. I chose the 3 item option of three sashimi pieces, pork katsu, and chicken katsu. Came with miso, rice, edamame, and salad.

Good presentation on a plate (I was sort of hoping for an actual bento). The best part of the dish was the sashimi pieces, the fish looked fresh and tasted good as expected. The two katsus were nice and thin and had a crunchy outer coating. However, the katsu itself was quite bland and lacked any notable flavor, I could barely tell the difference between the chicken and pork. The katsu sauce, though, was quite nice and wasn’t excessively sweet like many other comparable places. The udon noodles were just the right amount of chewy while the broth base was a bit lacking.

This spot comes off as a bit pricey for the portions but it is to be expected considering the location. Overall, service was good, fish was fresh, but items were rather bland.
