I used to order from this place often through Uber, but today I was horrified to find a huge worm in my edamame. It was the first time I’ve ever seen something like this, and I was in shock. I only discovered it after I had already eaten part of it, and I started vomiting. The food also had a terrible smell. I will never order from this place again.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ginger Grill for years and have recommended many people here, which makes this experience even more unacceptable.
Tonight my order took over 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive — so long that I genuinely forgot I had even placed it. After about 50 minutes, I called to check on it. The person who answered did not apologize and simply said the food would be here shortly. After waiting longer, I called again and a woman answered, spoke rudely, asked if we wanted to cancel the order, and still never offered a single apology for the excessive delay.
When the food finally arrived, it was cold and everything tasted off. After that long of a wait and poor treatment on the phone, receiving low-quality food made the situation even worse.
Delays can happen — that’s understandable. But the lack of professionalism, zero accountability, rude customer service, and poor food quality are not things customers should have to tolerate, especially long-time supporters of the business.
This was far below the standard Ginger Grill used to have, and it has seriously damaged my trust in this restaurant.

Great Japanese food, tasty, big portions and reasonably priced.
Minor constructive criticism is the Tofu bento box includes California roll (has crabstick in the filling), it would be nice to offer a vegetarian roll with this instead because a Tofu bento box infers that it’s all vegetarian.

Please be more considerate when using your staples on sealing bags. It’s been over 7 hours and I still haven’t gotten this staple out my finger. For contexts I know it may look shallow although it’s pretty deep. This staple in my finger was not worth the 99cent canned beverage in a stapled brown bag. Very frustrating….. ( Now I’m considering taking this personal for this inconvenience & the removal of this staple is $278 ) Ginger Grill you aren’t sitting well with me now….

Nestled between Union City and West New York, sits a hole in the wall restaurant pumping out some really delicious sushi! I got the spicy salmon crunch roll and what they call the Hometown Roll, a more deluxe version of a spicy salmon roll. Both were delicious, and it left me wanting to come back to try other delicious rolls from this restaurant.
Not to mention, the pricing was rather good. Both rolls and a Snapple came out to be $20, which is pretty decent for one person.

When I called to place my order, the customer service was very cold and they hung up the phone on me after I asked a question. Though this was so rude, I kept the order anyways because I was hungry. When I went to pick up the food, the prices were different then what’s on the online menu and the customer service was very cold and dry.
The food was also very bland, no love in it. No flavor in the Udon Miso soup and I didn’t even eat the rolls because they look weird. I wouldn’t come here again.
