Tried ukranian food for the first time, and it was a delight!
The space was clean, the music was nice, and it all gave a chill aesthetic.
We tried the butter candle and that was definitely the highlight! Tasted delicious and felt very special.
We ordered strawberry compot and uzvar drinks and they were the perfect coldness and just sweet enough to be tasty and refreshing!
The potato pancakes were crispy and flavourful with a good amount of mushroom sauce.
The black & spinach salmon Varenyki was really smoky and cheesy and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Last, I tried the Syrniki cheese cakes and I wish they were a tiny bit sweeter, but it was definitely giving cheesecake with lemon flavor and pretty nice ending to the meal!

The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and intimate. The food was well prepared and presented in an appetizing way. We ordered several dishes and ate them family style amongst three of us. Ice in drinks is upon request.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. You’ll be surprised by the fact that all the dishes are just like at home.
Thanks a lot. Everything was very delicious. It was my first visit but of course it was not the last.

This Ukrainian café is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is so warm, cozy, and welcoming — it truly feels like home. The food is incredibly delicious, fresh, and authentic. Every dish is made with love, and you can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The staff is kind, friendly, and always smiling.
I highly recommend this place to everyone — once you come here, you’ll want to come back again and again. Truly a five-star experience!

Very tasty food like my grandma used to make. Both the strawberry and dried fruit compots were very authentic and not too sweet. The borscht was nice and hearty. It came with slice of a nice rye bread, a slice of pretty tasty salo, and excellent-tasting thick sourcream. The potato pancakes were wonderful – crispy and full of flavor. The ‘skovoridka’ had the best potatoes I had in a while – definitely cooked with a good bit of salo, with plenty of fried salo bits (shkvarky) to prove it. Syrnyki were real nice, not too sweet and with a proper taste of cottage cheeze/tvorog/syr.
We’ll definitely try to visit this place every time we’re in the area.

My first time, having Ukrainian food, and I was pleasantly surprised. Food was incredible, and definitely fresh. I was a little disappointed that the woman who took my order wasn’t willing
to help me choose from the menu, but looking at the other Google reviews I was able to make a decision. The pictures on Google where a great way for me to know what I should order. I highly recommend that the restaurant take photos of every dish as they were just as beautiful as they were delicious.

Came here on a sat for dinner. Other than one other occupied table, the place was as empty as a commuter parking lot on a holidays weekend. Ordered the borscht and the XL Mix board. The food was reasonably tasty but fall short on quantity. Definitely pricey for the small serving size. The big turn off is the check where the suggested minimum tip was 20%. Isn’t that a bit presumptuous to expect this much? I usually tip more but always tip short of the minimum just because of this entitled expectation. Not recommend if you are familiar with Baltic cuisine. Pricey compared to other alternatives in the Chicagoland area. Be sure to come with a full stomach or risk leaving hungry.

First time visit here, there was 2 ladies doing everything. They’re quite, calm and fast. They don’t speak much English but we can understand each other. Respect for what they did.
The restaurant is clean and well organized. The food is good. I’m looking for a light taste and this is it. Even though I had a lots of food but my stomach wasn’t heavy. Another new cuisine to my world. Wish you two health and happiness.

Traditional Ukrainian food. We tried borscht, golubtsi (cabbage rolls) and potato pancakes. All of them were very good.
