Went this afternoon, carried out a hideous pizza with barely any cheese on it. Huge spots of just sauce, because once again barely any cheese on it. Not ordering from here again

Admittedly it’s been quite some time since I’ve eaten Papa John’s pizza, roughly 10-12 years. Been a while, but the first thing I noticed what the quality was different. The dough was not all delicious like it use to be, and seemed to be, how do I say this, cheap. Yeah cheap would be a good word. The garlic butter sauce is also different. It now has a washed out flavor with a weird creamy consistency. TBH I couldn’t really tell the difference between the cheese sauce and garlic. They look identical and tasted damn near the same. Also, when ordering online you feel obligated to give a tip, even though you have no idea how the service will be. Kinda wonder, if I don’t give a tip, are they going to take their time, or do something to my food. I won’t order from here again. Had the pizza been like it use to be, I would come back, but I wasn’t impressed.

The pizza is always very good, staff give good service, I live near by so I go myself to pick it up, I use the app and as soon as I order I go to pick it up and it is usually ready when I get there. My kids love it.

I already don’t like papa John’s, but as a delivery driver – I go where I’m needed. The woman working tonight was very rude, and just adds to my dislike for this pizza company. Learn to have mutual respect for the delivery driver whose job is to get the order safely to the customer just as yours is to please the customer.
