Jeannie’s Kitchen is the closest we can get to sharing the comfort of fresh, home cooked meals with everyone— just like Jeannie would want. Mother of Whitehead Oil Company owner, Mark Whitehead, Jeannie loved the community of Lincoln like her own family. And according to Jeannie, meals were a time for tradition and sharing good conversation with her loved ones. Jeannie’s passion for food and Lincoln inspired Mark to create a restaurant in her honor, where everyone who enters is family and no one is allowed to leave hungry.

I really don’t like doing this: server named “Dez” needs to work on her people skills. Took our order, brought our food, refilled my coffee (without asking). Never checked on us, not once (one of us wanted more orange juice). She acted like we were inconveniencing her by being there. I left her an undeserved tip in hopes she will be less of a grump next time. If not, $0.25 sounds about right for the service we received.

Ordered steak and eggs medium. Rare on one side well done on other. Obviously made on a flat grill. It was flavorless and extremely tough burnt on top. Waited a little over an hour, which was fine. It takes time sometimes. A couple older farmers came in. Another waitress was extremely rude to them. Told them they would have to wait so she could wash table. She wouldn’t let them wait at table. She made them go back to front. There expression was like really. Do not recommend whatsoever! When checking out she rolled her eyes. I told her do not roll eyes at me. Total disrespect and lack of customer service. I can see why they are only a 3 star restaurant. After my experience, shocked it isn’t lower!
