Food is excellent, the fuggataboutit is my favorite and a tremendous sandwich! Fresh mozz, prosciutto and roasted red with balsamic on a great seeded roll – excellent! The people who work here are all great also. Would definitely recommend!

Order here all the time. Usually pick up my order. This time I asked if they deliver and they said yes. Recieved my order and realized I was charged a ridiculous and undisclosed $10 fee for delivery… $10 for a 2 minute drive… had I known I’d have picked my order up. Will never order here again. Cheaper to order with DoorDash somewhere else. That’s the most insane delivery fee I’ve ever seen anywhere.

Located at the Blockbuster Plaza off of St. Georges Avenue in Linden, this establishment is literally a hidden gem. Named after the owner’s wife, I have been coming to Bella Gina’s for many years, where the owner, Anthony, greeted us upon entering today and recognized me by name. Being an old-school Italian deli, my go-to sandwich is called Mama’s Delight, consisting of fresh mozzarella made in house, tomatoes, and pesto on a hard Italian bread cut into two. One of my colleagues accompanied me, and being a first-timer, she got the prosciutto, mozzarella, and roasted peppers on hard Italian bread. Both orders came with homemade potato chips. Besides sandwiches, they also have a large selection of Italian cuisine, salads, and Italian products for takeout and catering. The sandwiches are enough for two meals, are made fresh, and taste delicious. If you are in the area, give this place a try.

Excellent sales and counter help. On 10-4-19 I went and needed help selecting a pasta for a new recipe. They did not have the small shells but were able to reccommend another pasta that would work with the recipe. The inside of the store is very clean and well lit.

This place is magnificent. Best fresh mozzarella—homemade (still warm usually) and my favorite potato and macaroni salad. Come here next time you have to entertain! Awesome creamy vegetable soup! Homemade! Also best bean salad ever! I love Sharon Anthony and José

Gross , ordered some food , never ever again.
First they don’t wear gloves. Second, dirty is an understatement. All I can say, I found a hair in the potato salad. And the people that work in there need to bathe. Sadly , when I was in there I didn’t say anything about the gloves etc. found the hair in my salad as soon as I opened it. Yuck

Finishing my 3rd serving of a customized salad I requested. Caesar with shrimp and added veggies. Actually shared with my coworker and we both agreed the veggies were unbelievably fresh and tasty. Perfect amount of large delicious shrimp!… The people are lovely…. “keep your head up” 🙂

A male & an older lady assisted me Not friendly at all. I didn’t feel welcomed. As I waited for my food i noticed they greeted & smiled at other customers who entered restaurant. I really enjoy Italian food, I do laundry right now door & by the time I usually arrive bella Gina’s is closed. I was excited to see I arrived at a time they were open. But never will I return back here. So disappointed.

I’ve lived in linden for about 8 years and I only discovered this place around my third. Been coming back since. Can’t believe it took me this long to drop a review.
This is the embodiment of a “what can I say about” establishment, they have everything
Their menu has simple sandwiches, more complex ones, full entrees, various salads (Mozzarella, antipasto, tuna, etc) and more for a decent price. My friends were first put off by the $16 sandwiches they ordered (avg is abt $12-14 just for the sandwich)
until they opened the box and saw it was bigger than their friggin head, the cuts are more than generous (just try the “fohgettaboutit” Sandwich )
Speaking of cuts, don’t forget this is a DELI!!! Their sliced meats and cheeses are A1, they even make their own sauces in house. Their vodka sauce was amazing.
