We decided to stop in at 8 Star Cuisine restaurant for a meal yesterday. We have read good reviews about it online and traveled from our town of Mercer to Gibsonia to give it a try. Boy, were we surprised! This place was incredible! Everything from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere was simply amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted by our wonderful Hostess Ava C. She was extremely courteous and friendly. She took the time to explain to us in detail the pricing, the menu, and the buffet. She even how we might best make of our time and truly enjoy the buffet.
The buffet an extravagant appearance to it. It was an exorbitant number of selections of different types of food and well laid out. Everything was clearly labeled and extremely tidy due to servers who were constantly maintaining it. The selections ranged from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and many others. It had some of the delectable looking sushi I had ever seen at a buffet. Additionally, there were options Sashimi, fresh crab claws. king crab legs, And even Asian fish tacos. Not to be left out, they great Hibachi offerings that you could select from their menu and were included as part of the buffet.
The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. The restaurant decor was as nice as I have ever seen for a buffet. The restrooms were very clean and elegant. Everywhere you turned it was serviced with a smile. Our server Ava C made it an unbelievable experience. This is a restaurant we will soon return to again. Truly worth the 1-hour drive!

We reserved a table for a birthday party. The food was fresh and delicious. You could order from the menu and/eat from the buffet. The buffet was neat and clean with plenty of options. The atmosphere was welcoming & the staff is great. I recommend that you go you won’t regret it.

8 Star Cuisine deserves 10. We came here for the first time after a week spent in Tokyo. We missed the flavors, atmosphere, and charm of the Japanese restaurants we visited. 8 Star brings if all here to Gibsonia, PA. All you can eat sushi for more than reasonable prices, diverse roll selections, and a buffet means nobody will leave hungry. The staff here is very friendly and attentive, and they even employ a robot to make deliveries to the tables. We can’t wait to come back

I’ve never been here for dinner but lunch is definitely worth it from the few times I’ve stopped in. They actually give full size pieces of sushi instead of skimping out on the fish. Honestly worth the price to just come here for the sushi alone.
I’m not really a buffet person but they do have a lot of great options. They have dishes that you’ll find at other Chinese buffets but also a great dim sum selection and a few authentic dishes that I haven’t eaten since I was a kid. Friendly staff and they’re constantly cleaning when they get a chance, especially in the buffet area so it looks presentable.

It’s actually hard giving this review. 8 Star Cuisine might just be one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in in years. This was my first time there but they have only been there for a few months. It’s an all-you-can-eat sushi and Asian food. We were delighted to have Ava as our waitress as she explained all of it to us so that we didn’t actually ruin our own experience. So the sushi is ordered and I guess we started out ordering a lot for the three of us. Ava suggested we look at the rest of the very elegant Buffet prior to ordering more. It happened to be a very significant birthday for me and I was treated like royalty. If you go there you will not be dissatisfied with the food or service. The lunch is a little less than $20 and the dinner is somewhere around $35. It’s a great place for a special occasion but I would go there for lunch anytime.

First time here and brought my mom who hasn’t been able to get out much and we both fully enjoyed it! They have such a large selection to choose from. They had items I’ve never seen snapshots before. Will definitely come back.

This restaurant has good food overall and great options. In addition to all the seafood, sushi, and dumplings on the buffet you can also order endless hibachi.

Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend the sushi pizza and crispy roll. We were impressed with the selection of food. My kids favorites were the custard buns and vast array of dessert options including hand scooped ice cream. They also loved the projector wall with rotating images. We will definitely be back! Staff was amazing!

This is my new experience in all you can eat. If you are able to eat two plates of sashimi and crab legs (see my photos), then it’s worth spending $36.95 for a dinner. Sashimi and sushi rolls were average quality and took a while to receive them.
