The avocado toast was on point! This was the perfect breakfast while my daughter was rock climbing in the gym next door.

When my thoughtful friend Andrew mentioned this spot , I knew it was a must visit. Most are mainly familiar with the fantastic rock climbing gym set up. My daughter tried it and loved it.
Yet many may be unaware that a delicious cafe exists inside this rock climbing gym!
The dinner options revolve around handmade dough (you can see Jaime the chef/owner/Mc Glinns head chef – prepare it).
We tried 3 different pizzas and the kids gave them high ratings with an avg 4.75/5 being thoroughly impressed by “the crust and savory flavors.”
I of course agreed! Being from Chi-town (Chicago) I’m serious about pizza and do have high expectations (maybe even pizza snobby). I was very impressed with all the options and even tried the Thai pizza and that was surprisingly fantastic!
The pizzas we had our below:
Garlic & Cheese (alter version of the Fred Beckey)
Outer space (without the pepperoni) Arugula, roasted red peppers, and hot honey.
Wild mushrooms w/out the mushroom Arugula mozzarella, Gorgonzola, garlic cream sauce!
Fun fact: Jaime is also the creator of the blueberry pizza at McGlinns!

Sat down after climbing to enjoy some beers and a great custom pizza! Mike the owner is very attentive and puts care into every pizza!

We come here often for the best pizza anywhere. This morning we came for brunch – avocado crash pad, apple pie waffles and tamales. Jaime manages to make the food decadent and healthy while having very reasonable prices and great atmosphere. My 6 yr old loves it and we have also come on our own for date night. (Has or can make heart healthy gluten free options.) * Jaime took over the cafe about a year ago so any older posts are the previous owner.

Cool vibe but coffee really sucks… seems like the barista didn’t care if the shot came out burnt and over-extracted she just used it anyways, and also burnt the milk by steaming it for too long. But hey if you don’t care for quality coffee this place has a really cool atmosphere!

Neat little cafe with a viewing window to watch climbers in a cabin-like atmosphere.

Stopped in just b/c we didn’t feel like having to give Starbuckz our business and b/c it’s right next to the park/river so we’d have a stroll to wake our faces up on this brisk & crisp Saturday morning.
Didn’t really realize the coffee shop was a part of a climbing-gym establishment but that didn’t hinder us from getting our yum-yum on, in fact, I switched up my order to a tropical smoothie w/protein.
Split a belay-burrito with my partner in yummy-time adventures & it included a nice helping of fresh salsa. This hit my heart as I truly appreciate spicy additions to encourage my morning digestive juices.

The view from inside to the rock/boulder gym was a unique experience… Perhaps someday we’ll give it a go. If the +85 yr old male enthusiast can do it, why can’t we? Next time we’re in town we’ll be sure to gear up for a life changing experience.

Passing through on a Sunday and love local coffee shops, so we stopped in. Service was great, coffe was perfect, and the Avacado breakfast sandwich was fabulous!! Definitely a winner.
