It was a good experience. At the time that I went, there was plenty of parking. There was plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. I wanted to sit outdoor but the restaurant is located next to a very busy street. It was too noisy outside for my liking. I sat inside. The service was normal. The server was nice. There are a lot of items on the menu. I did ask for a special request that was denied. I asked for a half shrimp half oyster poboy. I was told they couldn’t do that. As a New Orleans native that was an every Friday choice for me. The food arrived fresh. For me it needed some extra seasoning. A lot of flavor is just how I’m used to having my food prepared. The atmosphere was nice. The music was catering to the type of customers that were there. It’s an ok place if you want to try something different. The prices are good.

I have been craving some crab legs for a while now, let’s just say this was the best Crab I bought in years. This was my first time ever trying it and I feel like I’ve missed out. I got the Xtra spicy not knowing it would literally bring tears to my eyes and a running nose . I love how well they packaged my order and had it out for priority delivery. The sauce was one of my favorite things to enjoy. When I say I will be ordering from them again during crawfish season. I WILL definitely BE BACK THERE FOR THE CRAB. It was so flavorful and packed with seasoning. Every bite was just so delicious and perfect. I want to order it again right because of how good it was. If you are looking for a good crab leg 89 definitely won’t let you down ❤️

The shrimp fried rice and fried Catfish was cooked to perfection and didn’t cost a arm and leg. Lol. When fried rice dont need soy sauce, that’s something serious. Customer service getting better. I will return over and over if the food is prepared and taste this good.

89 Crab & Seafood is version 2.0 of a place I love and been going for over 10 years – 88 Boiling on Wilcrest. Same great owners, same great flavor, and in a much nicer, upgraded location.
They were running a special buy 5 lbs get 1 lb free on crawfish and it did not disappoint. The crawfish were good sized, and most importantly, they were clean. I’ve been to places where there’s swamp weed and critters mixed in with your bag. 89 Crab had clean and purged crawfish. Didn’t get even 1 gamey crawfish.
I immediately texted my friends who live in Katy about that garlic butter crawfish they craved without having to drive to Westchase. We will be back soon!

I usually get crawfish to go during crawfish season it was always good. Today I dined in with a family member during lunch time on a weekday so it wasn’t busy at all should’ve been a great experience but it wasn’t!!! I was very disappointed in the lack of attention that was paid to us and the shrimp, oysters and fries nasty and unseasoned!!!! Crab legs weren’t bad. Service started out ok butwent downhill fast!!! Right away drink orders were not complete and they were not busy so should’ve been very easy to remember a side of lemons. After our orders were taken, we were forgotten! I had to get up TWICE to walk to the front to get assistance, because our waitress didn’t come back to check on us!! First time I had to get up there were several server ladies in the bar area chatting and laughing with 1 customer that was there, it was just 1 customer!! Our waitress was left to attend to customers at the front! I was waving my hands asking for help and was ignored! I went to the front to get a new drink because a fly flew in mines. 2nd time I went to the front was to ask for the ticket because as I looked around no one was seen, at the bar, the front counter area, nowhere. I looked over and realized They were ALL sitting having lunch together and talking while you have customers??? We were left on our own!!! Just awful!! How can all the staff be sitting down eating together when you have customers!!??? I won’t be back it was not a good experience and I’d referred several customers.

I had a chance to dine in with my family, the location is now remodeled and a nice place to have dinner. However, the services do need a little more attention. The food was good compared to other similar type restaurants. We had the seafood platters and crawfish is medium size for $8.99 the lb, we also ordered the crawfish fried rice which was good but a little over priced for small portion.

I went to 89 Crab Seafood on yesterday, specifically for the crawfish. They were frozen, but honestly still really good! I ordered them medium with the 89 seasoning, and they definitely had a kick — I wouldn’t go any spicier than medium. Once they get live crawfish in, they’ll definitely be seeing me again.
My manager ordered the Snow Crab, Shrimp, and Crawfish combo, and he said he really enjoyed the shrimp. They were huge, so I’ll definitely be trying those next time too. Overall, a solid spot and I’d go back!

The food was just ok. For it to be a seafood Cajun restaurant they didn’t have many things on the menu in stock. The drinks were horrible. The seafood boil was super watery and sweet. We would have been better off stopping at the foods truck next door.
