Our waitress was really sweet and nice, and I enjoyed the two fish tanks by the bar area. The food was alright. I got the Mandarin chicken because I was in the mood for a saucy breaded chicken dish, and it was a great proportion, but it was just way too sweet for me. It was so sweet that the sauce was almost becoming a candy shell around the breading. Their rice was good, and I had some of their veggies, and that was quite nice, but this place just isn’t for me.

Sizzling Mongolian Beef and Happy Family (the dish, not the card game) were perfectly cooked. Meat was delicious, shrimp and scallops tasty and properly cooked (which is hard to do), veggies still had the pleasant crunch of freshness without being either raw or mushy. Steamed pork dumpling appetizer was a nice set of well-seasoned bites. Food arrived quickly, had LARGE and aromatic portions of delectable hot food. It was a quiet afternoon, just what I needed. I tried something new (to me) the scallion pancake (vegan), I highly recommend! It comes with a wonderful dipping sauce (not pictured) that is high in flavor profile it is fried and is greasy to touch, if that’s a texture thing to you – eat it w your fork :)) I also ordered the vegetable lo mein, requested as vegan. My favorite drink of all time is their strawberry tea- I get it w green tea, half the sugar and light ice it’s a banger and a MUST try item! The owner was my server, his name is Terry. He is a kind and wonderful man, he let me in on a few cooking tips – I’ve been making homemade curry. If you have any questions about white pepper and it’s a calm atmosphere, pick his brain and learn what it can do for the flavor of any meal.

We knew it would be a wait because Christmas…But they Prioritize serving all takeout orders over current tables in the lobby, we were there for 3 1/2 hrs (no soup that we ordered right when sat but did have water) and ended up asking for our food to go. I would suggest they keep dining room closed because they are not set up to do both. One person running the phone and all the tables doesn’t work.

Food was good. It’s your normal standard menu items but had decent flavoring, was made fresh and they have nice gluten free options. Food was out in a good amount of time and staff was nice. Prices were very affordable

Ordered here while I was in the area visiting family. I used to eat Chinese food quite a bit when I had Chinese roommates for several years but I stopped as most of the places seem to have very muted flavors and it’s all sweet. I got the chicken fried rice and ordered extra spicy – it was the perfect spice level for me and the flavors were great. Quite a lot of chicken in it as well.
I’d like to try some of the more traditional dishes when I’m back in the area. Not sure which region but based on the food I’d guess Canto / maybe Guandong? Would love some Ma Lai Go or other traditional desserts on the menu. Maybe I missed them?
Overall very good. Huge portion on the fried rice. I could only eat about half.
