I hesitate to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. The restaurant itself appears clean and well-maintained, and we chose it as an alternative to the busy Percy’s we visited the day before. In hindsight, I now understand why this location wasn’t as busy.

While the service was friendly, there seemed to be a lack of leadership, which may have contributed to the issues we encountered. We waited an unexpectedly long time for our two orders, despite two tables that were seated after us receiving their meals—and finishing them—before we even got ours.

I ordered the “California Omelette,” which was advertised as a special for $14, but ended up costing $16 due to an additional charge for toast. While it didn’t taste bad, it was underwhelming both in presentation and flavor. The omelette was sparse, and if it included bacon, it appeared to be bacon bits rather than full slices. The other ingredients—avocado, tomato, and cheese—were present, but the overall result didn’t live up to the price.

My brother ordered eggs and pancakes, which also fell short. I suspect the pancakes were frozen, as they resembled the small, pre-made ones typically found in the frozen section of a grocery store. The bacon was tough and difficult to eat. Please note the 10 overcooked and luke warm home fries in the pic is before eaten.

For two meals, including a tip, the total came to about $58. While we both managed to eat our meals, it was more out of necessity than enjoyment. The coffee was $4 a cup, and frankly, a stop at Dunkin’ Donuts would have been a much better choice.

While I’ve seen other reviews with more positive experiences, my own visit did not meet expectations, and I would personally recommend choosing another restaurant. Based on our experience, I’m hesitant to return.

Early Bird Restaurant was a fantastic start to our day. The food was absolutely delicious, with a varied and unique menu that still offers all the classic breakfast favorites you hope for. Everyone in our party of five found something they loved. Can’t say enough about my eggs Benny! On a snowy New England morning, the coffee was especially welcome—hot, rich, and delicious. Despite it being a Saturday morning, we were promptly seated, our orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived in a timely manner. Friendly service, great food, and a cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!

Early Bird Cafe is a charming and welcoming spot that lives up to its name as the perfect place to start your day. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, exactly the kind of cafe you want to settle into with a morning coffee, and the service is friendly and efficient — staff genuinely make you feel at home. The food is decent but could use more creativity and execution to truly match the quality of the overall cafe experience. With a stronger menu, Early Bird would be an easy five stars.

Came in for lunch, but breakfast specials looked so good we decided to have a second breakfast. The food and service were great. The homemade corned beef hash was meaty and delicious, not overloaded with filler. The best has I’ve had in a long time. The portions were good sized for the price; maybe a little light on hash browned potatoes, but plenty of everything else. Extremely friendly servers. We will be back.

We had a wonderful experience this morning! They were so gracious in accommodating our party of 9 (including 3 kids) even giving us a private room. The food was also very delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem, thank you so much for an amazing breakfast!

Heard this place was really good, so was disappointed. Went with my husband and stepdaughter. The place was cute and we sat in a nice alcove with lots of windows. The waitress came over right away and was pleasant and helpful. The food came out quickly. Unfortunately it wasn’t that good. My husband ordered a hash omelet with American cheese. There was very little hash and no cheese. My stepdaughter said her avocado toast was delicious but the pancake was so so. The worst thing was breakfast was served with one piece of toast, ONE PIECE. Seriously that seemed really chintzy. Not terrible but we were not impressed.

Just went here for breakfast waited an incredibly long amount of time to be able to place an order and decided we just pay for our coffees Because the service was so poor. They then explained that the coffee, that was three dollars on the menu, was actually four dollars because “prices are going up and they’ll go out of business if they don’t do that“. When I explained, that that’s you know illegal they couldn’t care less. Also the coffee sucked. I never leave reviews critical of small businesses, but I won’t be back.

Very good breakfast place. I had the Short ribs Benedict, which was tasty! No bar though, so no brunch cocktails 🙁 Kind of a rustic decor, so cozy. Good selection of breakfast dishes (mini egg sandwiches and benies)
