The service was outstanding. The woman that took my order was so polite, and in person, she was even sweeter. Those ribs are delicious and the sauce….. Man, that sauce is so good we had to get the fries drenched in it. It’s a 30 minute drive one way for me but is worth it. I will be back soon.

UPDATE: Ribs this summer were excellent just as they had been years ago even though they had been closed for a number of years. But got 2 slab dinners yesterday that were so salty they were inedible. There was no smoke flavor whatsoever. Zero. The sauce tasted much different, not in a good way, than it did this summer. They were falling off the bone tender which is also different than this summer when they were tender but still had a little bite. Maybe it’s a labor shortage issue, I don’t know, but that’s a lot of money to spend on food that is inedible. The macaroni and cheese was good however. Sadly I won’t be going back.

I’m going to be real I was skeptical of this place from the moment my boyfriend pulled up. But he usually recommends good food. There were no cars lined up like it was high demand. Anyway they are TAXING you get no sides everything is extra on top of the $20 u have to spend just for the meat. So I ordered $45 later they locked the door I was waiting on my food. I’m actually still waiting on my food as I write this I hope this food is good because it’s a no for me already. The lady was really really nice but next time I’ll go to UPTOWN BBQ on Livernois they are the TRUTH!

My wife has been going here for years, since she was a kid. I been there 3 times now in the past two months. Tremendous is the only word to come to mind. Ms. Lady behind the counter is sweet. Super sweet. Always helpful and smiling. The food is great. Portions are great. I spent $40 and got 3lbs of rib tips, 2 large Mac n cheese, 2 large greens, 2 large fries , bread and coleslaw. And that is just for me and my wife. Can anyone say lunch and dinner and midnight snack?
