Absolutely horrible food. Ordered shrimp fried rice and it had nothing but warmed boiled shrimp as the addition.absolutely no veggies in the rice with no fried flavor whatsoever. It had no sesame oil or no char on any of the rice the rice look like a bag of pre-cooked rice she would buy at Walmart. The two orders of hot and sour soup was nothing but hot soup no sour to it whatsoever we had to add things to it to doctor in order to eat it. My wife sweet-and-sour chicken had no vegetables with the chicken once I just tempura fried chicken with a terrible Sweet-and-sour sauce. Tasted like it had cleaning fluid in it. Oh, rice was anything but fried as well no veggies no char taste no sesame oil taste just plain rice out of a bag you would buy at Walmart. Absolutely horrible food.

This is hard to say, but panda express just absolutely blows this place away.

Excellent example of a typical American Chinese restaurant. We are lucky to have them in Ooltewah. They are really friendly people and the food is great and the place is really clean. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options. The easiest way to order is online. You’ll see all the options, can make notes about spice levels and know exactly what you are getting. You can even order for pick IN THE FUTURE. You should eat here. It’s delicious. We got a whole box of food.

All I can say is, for a little hole in the wall Americanized Chinese food take out joint in little ole’ Chattanooga Tennessee, this place will surprise you. They have the common fare, but if you have been to China, or any American big city like Atlanta, Los Angeles, or New York, you have experienced real quality Chinese food, then you will want to visit this joint!!
The chef here really is an expert cook, and he can stir up a feast!! He caters to Chinese families and events, so if you have that particular urge to eat some scrumptious Chines food, they can satisfy your cravings. You just need to show a little appreciation for the cultural food and ask for the real deal. They are most happy to share their great culinary flavors with you. You will have to order in advance, but you will be delighted with the great outcome. 5 stars, and I mean it!! My pic is of a real lobster, in the shell, breaded lightly in corn starch and deepfried, then tossed in a delicate ginger , garlic scallion sauce. WOW. I can’t wait to go back, probably at least once a week, if not more!! No Chinese restaurant has eve offered to create for me such great traditional food. The Chef is a master seafood chef, so if you are really hungry, and wanting something unlike your usual sweet, sugar coated Americanized, (and they do sell that for YOU), then, this China Rose can deliver!!!

Must be under new management…. food tasted terrible. The rice was undercooked, dry, and really hard with bits of corn that i did not ask for. The chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce was tasteless and watery.
I don’t know what happened or when they changed, but I’ve learned my lesson…I’m sticking with China Kitchen on apison!

My family and I always enjoy a meal from China Rose. We always order take out & it only takes about 15 minutes to prepare a meal for 4 people. They’re very quick and timely when it comes to having your order ready. Don’t be fooled by the outdated interior, they always provide quality food. It’s always hot and fresh. We highly recommend to those looking for great Chinese food!

Stopped by for Chinese here, first of all, the service is amazing. Nice lady upfront who was very courteous with me and my family. Ordered fried rice, chicken lo mein, general tsao chicken, and crab Rangoons. Everything was hot and very delicious. The restaurant is very clean and kept. Definitely recommend giving it a try. I can’t wait to be back.
