I have had Maggianos from Arkansas to Chicago and California. For the location in the Dallas Love Field airport to have the only issue during a 5 hour layover on my way back home is ridiculous. Sitting at the countertop to grab a nice meal and kill some time and I get told on a $120+ bill that I cannot be served another drink (keeping quiet while editing photos on my phone) at this restaurant. I would understand if I was an issue or being loud, however while on an extended layover while relaxing is an issue. I do NOT RECOMMEND visiting this location unless its for the food (To-Go).

Great place for a meal before your flight! Seating is a little cramped, but that’s expected at the airport. Service was good, food yummy and we enjoyed the start of our trip! Keep in mind they don’t accept Maggiano’s gift cards at this location.

Had a good experience at this airport location. The service was excellent. I was seated immediately and restaurant was clean. Nice place to get an elevated meal and take a break in the airport. They had a full bar, wine and cocktails. I enjoyed the old fashioned and the Sicilian coffee. I loved the salad with bacon, blue cheese and fresh avocado. I also enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. I was disappointed because they have no shrimp so I had to get chicken. At least the chicken was juicy and after adding some salt and pepper I was all set. I recommend and would return.

The food I got here was absolutely delicious, I think it was the pesto ravioli. Also my waiter was very nice and literally let me try their sauces when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Overall it was really great Italian food.

I gave it an overall 3 stars. Service was a 4, food was a 4, atmosphere was a 3 because it was a bit dirty, and the description of the dish and initial interaction about receiving it was a 1 star. I ordered the spaghetti and meatball. Emphasis on the non plural meatball. It is my fault I paid $26 for a dish that I wasn’t fully aware would only come with a lone meatball. I mean, it does say meatball, right? But the fact that it’s not transparent outside of the name, that is a bit misleading. Who seriously thinks they are getting one meatball with their dish? I wonder how many people are initially pissed there’s only one meatball but don’t say anything. While it’s a good sized one, equal to maybe two regular meatballs, no person expects to have a very expensive plate of noodles with one meatball. Regardless, when the dish was put in front of me, I immediately told the waitress that was unacceptable. I rarely if ever do anything like that! I was honestly shocked. Possibly gasped. I wanted a second meatball, especially to feel like I got my $26 worth. It was actually pretty pathetic, being dwarfed by all the noodles. She complied and took my dish back. A manager then came out with it. He asked the issue and I told him that I never complain (he probably was like “yea right buddy”) but the fact I was paying $26 for noodles and meatball was crazy. He said they couldn’t add another meatball so I told him to just leave it. I was visibly upset. At that point I was already set to rail on this place with 1 stars in every category. I feel like he picked up that I was not happy. A few minutes later he brought out an extra meatball. For that, I say thank you good sir! Your actions saved the ratings… but I’ll be honest, I was scared to eat it . “We’ve got a complainer at table 10!” So back to the rating. The service was good, everyone was nice, but buyer beware. When it says spaghetti and “meatball” not plural, it’s literally a meatball. It’s a decent sized one, but it’s not anywhere near $26 worth.

My two stars is strictly service. I am from Chicago and travel a bit to Orlando so super familiar with Maggiano’s menu and really enjoy everything on the menu most time. Each place varies but pretty on point with consistency of food regardless where I go. Having said that I checked in with the host she gave the option to sit in the restaurant space or in the hall court (patio) I choice out to the hall court because I was traveling solo and wanted to people watch. Sat for a good 10 minutes. Bartender passed by 2 or three times as she was taking car if people. She for sure saw me. A mom and daughter sat down and less than a minute she took them menus, waters, and greeted them. I then sat another 2 minutes before I flagged the cashier behind d me taking to go orders what I needed to do to get serviced. She flagged a server that was literally already clocked out and gathering her stuff to leave. She was apologetic and took my order even tho I didnt get a menu ( of course I didn’t need it) placed my order and left. The bartender that saw me 2 or three times in her rounds then brings me my food and walks away. She does come and check on me twice but at this point obviously is out of obligation and she is left solo. This left a real bad taste and honestly did not enjoy my meal. I could have picked any of the other locations in the airport and cheaper mind you but im familiar with the food and service so needless to say this fell super short of previous experience at different locations for Maggianos

Just had a long layover at Love Field and I travel a few times through Love field but it was my first time eating there and I was very delighted. My server “Kat” was awesome, very nice and attentive. I ordered the meatball sandwich which was fantastic. The fries were good not great and a little saltier than I would like them to be. The price was fair actually better than Moe’s Southwest Grille. I would recommend it if you have a long layover.

It’s the location in the Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). I loved the food in Maggiano’s but there is only small selection on the menu, as it’s in the airport. I first recommended the Spaghetti & Meatball with the choice of marinara or meat sauce. I ordered the same dish for several times; however, I felt the quality and presentation were not quite consistent. I added the pictures of the same dish from time to time to this review. It’s not hard to see that sometimes the meat sauce is thick (which is what I like) and sometimes it’s watery. The meatball size also shrank obviously at one time. The spaghetti with meatball was delicious and I like to eat in here when traveling through DAL, but I hope I can receive the dish with the good and consistent quality.
The environment was clean and good to stay and enjoy the food. Sometimes, the restaurant is crowded; the crew members and the manager are busy, so no one at the front desk to take the guests for seating. There will be a short line at the entrance. If there is the seat at the bar, you may just go ahead and have the seat; the bartender will take care of you. Or you can check the “Carry Out” area to see if something you like to quickly grab and go. I tried the Spaghetti & Meatball and Taylor Street Baked Ziti from the Carry Out before; they tasted good and just like serving right from the kitchen. That is a great option when catching the flight.
The crew members and the manager were friendly. There was one time I changed my dine-in order into the take-out order in order to catch the flight. The manager told the kitchen to expedite my order immediately and kept his eyes on my order to make sure I got it quickly. He was really helping.

The food was great!
The service was attentive. The staff wasn’t very friendly, but I was not and I was served promtly. The server kept my drink full without my having to ask.

Excellent meal! I had lots of time to wait and found a comfy seat in the corner. Breakfast was being served but I chose to wait 10 minutes for the lunch menu to start. Been a hot minute since I had pasta so I splurged. DAMN!!! Best spaghetti and meatball I think I have ever had. I chose the meat sauce with it. The meatball (1) was huge!!! Only needs one! Served in this gigantic pasta bowl! Comfort food at its best with fresh, hot bread. Oh man! Sometimes flight delays are awesome.
Joyce was my server. Very friendly and very sweet! Will remember this next time I fly to Dallas/Love Field!
5 STARS!!!
