Went to Hangry Joe’s in Glendale Heights for dinner with friends and honestly had a great time. The food came out hot and fresh, and the chicken was super crispy and flavorful. The spice level actually hits, so if you like heat, you’ll be happy.
Service was friendly and quick, even with a group order, and the place has a chill, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for hanging out. Portions were solid and prices felt fair. Everyone left full and satisfied.
Definitely a good spot to grab dinner with friends. Would come back again.

We went for early dinner at Hangry Joe’s with group of family friends and kids of different ages. Everyone really loved the place! It was very clean inside and staff was super friendly, they even help kids with menu choices.
Food was delicious. I grew up eating very hot and spicy foods back home, but they advised me to start with mild level. That was good advice because even mild had nice kick enough spice for me without too much burn.
We tried several things from menu. The Chicken Sando was amazing, big juicy chicken breast, crispy outside, with pickles and slaw on soft bun, sauce make it so tasty. Kids loved the Chicken & Waffles chicken tender and sweet waffles go perfect together, they finish everything fast! Also Chicken Wings were great, crispy and flavorful, we share many pieces and no one complain. Sides like fries were good too.
We all had really good time, laughing and eating. I definitely recommend Hangry Joe’s, great for family or friends!

Amazing amazing experience under this new ownership!! I was initially a little reluctant since previously the food was good but the experience was horrible. Completel different scenario this time: there’s new bright screens, heater is fixed (!) and it’s just a great vibe. And the food was just amazing. The two must haves in my opinion are th 1) chicken and waffle and then 2) dry rub wings. Super delicious. Oh also highly recommend you check out the gyro; it’s on the secret menu…

The restaurant was empty when we arrived, the service was fast.
Holy hell the heat is not joke, I ordered no heat and my lips were burning.
I had the chicken and waffles, the waffles were amazing and had a nice crunch.
My husband ordered the chicken Sando in angry hot, he said the heat was good, but there wasn’t flavor it was just heat.
The fries amazing! Great crunch, great flavor and the dipping sauce added a little heat.

Tried Hangry Joe’s in Glendale Heights for takeout and everything was delicious. We ordered the Sando burger, chicken fingers, wings, loaded mac & cheese, and fries, medium spicy across the board. The spice level was perfect with unique, flavorful seasoning. The chicken was big, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Kids loved the mac & cheese, fingers, wings, and fries. We went around 3 PM, enjoyed great hospitality, a nice ambience, and even caught a cricket match on their huge screen. Plenty of parking and a great location. With so many fast-food options nearby, Hangry Joe’s really stands out. Will definitely be back, next time going spicier on the Sando! ️

Amazing Comeback! New management really hit it out of the park. 10/10 the chicken waffles are worth the drive. The also give students of knowledge a special discount which made it even sweeter. Will be back sooner than I expect to.

Delicious yummy chicken wings with seasoned chicken burger for hungry stomach plus if you add bubble tea it makes 5 star dinner to your appetite. We were visiting from Dallas to Chicago and this Halal restaurant makes our stay more enjoyable. Very clean and excellent service. Highly recommended.

I got the basic chicken sandwich mild spice with sauce on the side. The chicken was seasoned nicely and the waffle fries looked tasty but the were soft, zero crispness. The other disappointing part was the sandwich itself. The picture showed a fried chicken sandwich with a cabbage slaw spilling over the sides with pickles (plural). If I had not gotten the sauce on the side I wouldn’t have known there was any slaw on it at all. And 1 tiny pickle chip hanging off the side. Both of those ingredients cost next to nothing. For $17 I could have gone to the buffet next door and gotten stuffed. Don’t be like the chains, make it look like the picture and I’d give it a second chance.

Very glad that I went here for lunch, I had their chicken sandwich with fries and the fries were seasoned very well, as well the Sandwhich being very flavorful and juicy. The chicken is amazing! Amjad was very kind and made sure that I had a pleasant first experience!
