Staff was great here, very friendly. Came in late at night and they were welcoming instead of bothered by a late order. Pizza was great, as expected because this place was highly recommended by a pizza group on Facebook. You cannot go wrong eating here. The pepperoni piccolo is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The whole top of the pizza is covered in the cup and char pepperonis that turn into little goblets of tasty satisfaction. The cheese was creamy and had a great pull and the sauce was sweet and had some chunks of tomato in it. Probably the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had. Reminded me of Chicago deep dish sauce. This pizza was very greasy but who cares? I am going here to indulge, not to eat healthy. I put this in the top three best pizza places in Dayton and highly recommend. If you’re thinking about eating here do it! Get the pepperoni piccolo!

Tried gioninos for the first time with the family last night. We had to try the fried chicken and Jo Jo’s (potato wedges) and of course a pizza! The fried chicken was so good!! Crispy, juicy and fell right off the bone. The pizza crust you could tell was made fresh and not frozen. The sauce was excellent and not too sweet. Not too mention the fresh mozzarella they use. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend trying them out!!

I got onions and banana peppers with light cheese on a pizza and my friend got a chicken, onion, and banana pepper pizza.
I got 2 sides of spicy parmesan garlic sauce. Very spicy but such a good dipping sauce.
I recommend this pizza over and over again.
I can not wait to try other items!!!

Our favorite chicken place. The chicken is always juicy and perfectly cooked. The pieces are HUGE!! JoJo’s are so good and the homemade coleslaw is amazing. Piccolo pepperoni pizza, is our favorite, is full of the crispy treats. Employees are super sweet!! 5 out 5 stars!!

Pizza sauce had little to no flavor. Was thick and doughy.
Wings had soggy skin but were juicy and tasted ok.
Friendly staff. Service got a 3 because I had to wait 10+ mins for the wings after the pizza was done. That is, pizza was cool and wings were hot.

Great food, pizza was crispy on the edge & not on the inside so much.. Sauce & cheese was above average. Cheese bread was quite good as well. The prices felt reasonable and service was very good. Really can’t complain anything tbh. I guess making the place stand out a bit more so you can see where it is from the street might be a consideration but all in all a really good first time experience from an out of towner. If they were in my hometown (Springfield) right now they would be my go to pizza place.

My first experience left a lackluster impression. I ordered BBQ Chicken Pizza and the potato wedges. Dave saved the “service” rating with his great chatter and service in the store. I’ll try another time with a less messy pizza.
The pizza was thoroughly soaked with bbq sauce. The pizza was estimated ready at 7:50 and I picked up at 7:53. I dug in at 8:06. I’m saddened the bbq could soak in so quickly. The lack of a supportive crust allowed the chicken to tumble off the pizza. I had to resort to a fork.
The potatoes were ok. They’re long and thin, I believed coated in bread crumbs. They’re not crispy, but that could’ve been a result from my nearly 20min delay in eating. Just ok.

This was my 1st time trying this pizzeria. I went inside to place a to go order. Dusten took my order, he was very nice and friendly. I got a small deluxe and added black olives. I also asked if he could cut my pizza into squares, which he said was no problem. My pizza took about 12 minutes. It was hot, freshly made, and delicious. The crust is crispy but still has a bit of a chew, which I like. I’ll definitely be back.

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in 30 years. Ordered a small Gionino’s Best and was very satisfied with it. Great ingredients and the right amounts of the. Done just right and done on time. Kettering, you’ve got a treasure in this place.
