We stopped in for dinner and drinks. The food was delicious and the cocktails were thoughtful and well crafted. Some of the cocktails were overly sweet, so ask before ordering. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The only downside is the steak and frites were labeled as gluten free on the menu, but when it was served the frites were battered. When I asked they said they were not gluten free. So that was confusing. Despite this everyone else loved their food.

“Upscale” eatery – high quality taste. We felt like the shareables were the best part of the menu (scallops and mushrooms). The fried chicken congee was good. The lobster roll was also good, but the chips were a bit soggy.

Food was average – elk burger with fries didn’t taste any different than a regular burger. French onion soup was very good. Cocktails were good and service was excellent.

Went here for my birthday and had an amazing time. The food and drinks were top tier right along with the service. I was able to give my compliments to the chef, who is one of the owners, and he is truly a delight. 10/10 would recommend! the Auckland, New Zealand cocktail and the hatch green chili ravioli was actually the best thing ever. Please bring your friends and family here

Visited Felt for early dinner before a show and would describe it as a little hit and miss.

The drinks were good and the we had the Brussels sprouts and scallops which were amazing.

The Maitake mushrooms were good but it honestly could have been anything fried in there.

The lobster roll was meh at best. The meat was tough and the chips were all salt and no vinegar.

We had some espresso creme brulee for dessert with really good flavor but whoever was in charge of carmelizing the top ran out of butane or something. So the texture was definitely off.

Lastly the inside is pretty but with open ceilings and no walls it was loud, and this was early with barely anyone there. I imagine on a busy night it could be really hard to have a conversation.

This place is crushing it. From the best cocktail design we’ve seen in years to a well curated menu of items. The french onion soup, shrimp & grits, and Nashville chicken sandwich were all stellar. Perfectly balanced and having a new unique riff on originals. The blood orange creme brulee was the perfect finish. Finally, a creme brulee that was chilled and smooth. Excellent restaurant with fantastic service.

First time at Felt Bar & Eatery and we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. The Korean BBQ Ribs are delicious and so are the Pretzel Bites. Mac n Cheese was not bad but that Lobster Roll was absolutely delicious! Togarashi Chicken with Gnocchi was great as well. You have to end the night with the cookies and milk for nostalgia, as for the flavor- I liked the hint of orange but I think I’m just a cookie snob because these cookies were too cake like for me. Didn’t have that crisp around the edges BUT they were still tasty!

The downside for me was the service, waitress was nice but she took a while to refill our drinks or forgot to get items we asked for like an extra napkin. We had to wait a long time in between. Also, I ordered a Shirley Temple and unfortunately it was the worst Shirley Temple I’ve ever had. I don’t even know if they put the grenadine in there. It was very bitter. Overall, if you’re into a more upscale bar scene with good food and a good atmosphere this is the place for you.

I got the short rib grilled cheese and it was amazing! Although there was some arugula or other green inside the grilled cheese that i didnt need in there. The only reason it wasnt 5 stars. The cocktails and beer selection are also great.

Felt is such a well run, well executed bar/restaurant. The food is unique, flavorful, and fun. The wine selection is always so much better than other restaurants in SLC. Last night we got the pretzel bites- always a solid choice, shrimp ceviche, and swordfish. Highly highly recommend the swordfish. It was so fresh, well seasoned, and garnished. Not pictured, but a must get- the Brussel sprouts! So crisp and flavorful. The still Rose is the best wine I’ve had in a long time. Come check out this incredible place! Pictured- the one and only Chef Herbert!
