Not a flashy place, but the place is clean, and serves fast and good food. Shake was great, too. I’d love to stop by again.
Oh and enjoy the random but antique stuff around the restaurant.

Braaaaaaaa!!! This place is the definition of an American Classic! Like a maid rite in this B… I was juts waiting in the Teddy Swims concert and wanted a snack and what’s a more America. Snack then a hot diggidy hot dog! I just got there classic chili cheese dog and boy did this make me happier then finding an empty rocking chair on a porch swing. The double dog had me astonished! And even though it’s just an onion chili cheese dog… that weiner between that bun was a childhood nostalgia that is incomparable. If your in town, go check out this basic delicacy! Especially if you have little ones… they have beer, duh!

I just had to try this, and went out of my way to make it happen. I’m glad I did. The staff greeted me immediately and were quick and helpful with my order. The chili is definitely NOT the normal chili you would expect on a chili dog. No, it’s better. Perfectly suited for the dog (did I detect star anise?).

I went with the chili dog with mustard, chips, and a root beer float, and my only regret is that I didn’t order two dogs, maybe even something different. If I’m passing through Sioux City again, I will absolutely find time to stop in again.

I do miss the nostalgia of the old location, but this is still a MUST GO spot while in Sioux City.

I live in Denver, but grew up in Sioux City. I go back to Milwaukee Weiner every chance I get.

The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly. The place is spotless clean.

Here’s to another 100 years.. Love this place…

My 10 year old found this place and insisted we try it. This being our first time, we walked in and were greeted by 4 gentlemen who were very helpful and friendly! Everything is a la cart style. The menu is posted on the board behind the counter with employees there ready to serve you quickly and efficiently! We loved the chili dogs, mustard, onions and chili on the hot dogs was so good!! Booth seating is avaliable inside with tables outside and even a walk up window!! So cute I thought! Very clean, comfortable with very respectful, polite and inviting staff there to help with whatever you need!! We will be coming back here again for sure! Our family of 6 all got at least 2 dogs per person, drinks and chips and it cost us under $63, for 6 people! That’s a deal, and it was delicious food!!

I’m 60, used to go to this place when I was little with my mom and siblings. Hot dogs where so good, I’m glad this place is still open. Hopefully in the future if I stop by Sioux city I’ll be able to get a couple of dogs.

To be honest… I would prefer Kwik Trip hotdogs over these expensive (low quality) hotdogs. And the bowl of chili was very watery. I’d try again but…. it was a weird experience. (You just leave your trash on the table for them to pick up was kind of weird to me. Made me feel rude and messy just leaving it there. And I kept stepping on oyster crackers!!!)

Overall the workers were really nice, service was A++.

This place is great.. wish they had a beef hotdog choice, else I eat it all the time. I can only do pork hotdogs every so often.

It’s a nice inexpensive place to eat. Good food at a reasonable price not much more that you can ask for. There was a pretty good line when we got there but it move quickly.
