This was a treat. Heading home from the coast. Decided to stop in for late lunch. Freshly made advertised. Let’s see. Yes, it was. I had the Alla Gricia (Mezzi Rigatoni) Guanciale (Cured Pork Cheek). Some people reported the dish to salty, I felt it was just right, after all it is cured meat. Not sure how much Guanciale was going to served, their was a right balance. I shouldn’t have orded the sausage on the side. But no regrets that by itself was another treat. Wouldn’t recommend ordering so much, I happily stuffed. This is “fast-casual dinning” (order first and seat). Staff service was very welcome and was a complement to our dinning experience. What I like the best is the open kitchen. You’ll see how your food is being prepared. With the love or if it came from “Hell’s Kitchen.” Well done Etto, we’ll be back. Clean dinning room, restrooms and free parking.

Outstanding pasta! The quality of the noodles is excellent and love that they have a shop next door that sells their pasta during the day. A good vibe here and recommend making reservations. The sauce is really good too and makes the dish just like what could get a in Italy itself. I also really appreciated the Caesar Salad that had wonderful crispy capers that added a great saltiness and texture and the anchovies that were exquisite and a treat as well. One of the best Caesar Salads that I’ve had! The Eggplant Parmesan was good but a bit too decadent with a lot of cheese — while it was good, definitely heavy and wished for a bit more balance with the eggplant. Overall, great place in Tin City and would go back!

The cashier was friendly and helpful. The food came out super fast.
But the food was just kinda bad. The red wine was served a bit too cold. The attached picture is how how I left my plate. I usually love pesto. I could have ate it, but I’d much rather invest the decadent calories in something that actually brought me joy.

The pasta here is delicious! But we ordered take out and the portions were a lot smaller than we imagined… 🙁 . We forgot to make a reservation but the ladies at the counter were kind to us regardless. I just have to say though, the garlic bread is absolute heaven! Still an amazing experience!

After a day (or morning) of wine tasting, there’s no better time for Italian food. Etto Pasta Bar, located in Tin City, is one worth going to. A bit of a different approach than a traditional Italian restaurant, you order at a counter, pay, and then take your number to the seat of your choosing. But don’t let the number fool you – service is swift, helpful, and kind. It wasn’t longer than ten minutes that we had our salad and pasta dish in front of us. Be warned or excited – these portions are sizable and great for sharing (especially the salads). The Caesar salad had the most amazing dressing and the amatriciana pasta dish was to die for. Simple, and perfectly executed. Go to Etto, you won’t regret it.

The food here was phenomenal! We stopped in for lunch and had the Bolognese and Pesto. Both dishes were amazing. Noodles perfectly cooked. Amazing sauces really well balanced. Visit their store next door to buy take home ingredients.

Tried Etto Pasta Bar after it was recommended by a couple. We got takeout and were excited to try it, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the bolognese and was disappointed; it tasted more like basic spaghetti with meat sauce than a rich, flavorful bolognese. The portion size was also surprisingly small for the price. The staff was friendly and we did not wait very long for our order. Overall, not terrible, but definitely underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This review is for the restaurant side of the business. There is also a small Italian grocery store that has all sorts of hard to find Italian pastas canned goods. There is a lot of wine, and fresh vegetables. It is a great place to hang out and find some cool things for that next Italian dinner party. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. We had the mushroom pasta as well as the beef lasagna. The portions were smaller than I would’ve expected. Definitely not shareable. And the pasta was good but not anything to amazing. Maybe I will try something different next time and see. I would recommend it though if you are in the mood for a good pasta selection and there’s a nice atmosphere inside. We did take out, and the service was prompt.

This place is in tin City. You can spend a whole day or two in tin City alone. I went there last weekend and we went back twice. The 12 layer lasagna is delicious. Their homemade potato chips. It’s delicious! The burrata appetizer is delicious. They’re cookies are awesome. Atmosphere is great. Staff is friendly. The food comes fast.
