I’ve eaten there in the past and didn’t care for it because it was really bland but my sister came to visit from out of town and they wanted Mexican food. I was surprised at how good it was. It was spicy with the chorizo dish I ordered and the chicken was really good. All of us got different dishes and they were all flavorful. Prices are good too. I’ll be going back rather than trying to fix it at home.

Good food and great friendly service. The menu is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant in Sunbelt America, but it’s served hot and fast by friendly staff. They have been in operation for a long time and the building is starting to show some wear, but the decor is festive and they keep your chips full so you don’t really notice after you sit down. There could be some improvements, but all in all this is a solid, small town restaurant that will make you feel at home.

Outside of the tomatillo salsa I would rate this place a complete 0 for flavor when it comes to food. It wasn’t bad it wasn’t great, it was just bland. Mexican food is not supposed to be bland. It’s supposed to be spicy, bold, flavorful, but not bland. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Also watch out if you ask for the spicy salsa with your chips they charged me $3 for 1 oz of salsa even though they give it to you for free with the tacos. Go figure?? Not a good value for dollar not a good experience for your time…

Food was great. Friendly staff. Building was old and dated, but that can be said for most of the city. Plus, they have room for bobtail trucks and allow parking if needed. It’s a safe and secure area.

Every time I come in I sit for quite a while to be recognized. They take forever to get my order. I’ve actually watched my other family members get their food and finish eating and I am waiting for my order to be taken, or waiting for it to come out. Keep it.
The food is bland to me without a lot of flavor. I was there tonight for a birthday. Same experience, different day. I can and will spend my money elsewhere. And no, I don’t leave a tip for this type of service.
