Sisco was super awesome, very attentive and laid back while also keeping a tight ship.
Plus, Dragonbowl C was delish and they have a location in the bar.
Drinks were also pretty average cost, $7.50-8 for local speciality drafts, so I’m not answering how much per person bc that’s entirely dependent on how much and what you order.
There is a smoking patio and vaping is not allowed inside. So, you don’t have to worry about a lung powered pancake scented air freshener.
The trivia questions were heavily focused on pop culture from the 1950s–1970s, with little effort to balance topics across generations. When this was raised, the trivia host (Tim) responded (paraphrasing), “Why should I care about millennials when our customer base are boomers?”
That comment, combined with the dismissive attitude toward feedback, made it clear that younger people were not welcome participants. Trivia should be about engaging the whole room, not signaling that only one age group matters.
If you’re over 50 and enjoy older movie trivia, this may be for you. If you’re a younger customer looking for an inclusive, balanced trivia night, I would not recommend it.
I won’t be returning.
Update: I adjusted my star rating because I do enjoy the food and drinks. My original review was about inclusivity at trivia night.
When I offered feedback to the trivia host that it would be nice to include some questions that people of different ages and backgrounds could reasonably answer, his response was condescending. He asked my age, told me the questions were not meant for people like me, and later made personal and disrespectful comments about me on social media.
My feedback was simply that adding a broader mix of questions could make trivia more welcoming. Unfortunately, neither the trivia host’s behavior nor the owner’s response addressed how a customer was treated when giving respectful feedback.
Price: Beer prices are pretty average especially for what they serve. Food prices are decent as well, but I love the food here, so I don’t mind paying a little extra.
Food: I used to be a big fan of the craft hot dogs, they’re not on the main menu anymore but I’ve been told they have a special menu for certain days/times when they still make them. They pair great with the loaded fries, kimchi fries are my favorite they are phenomenal. They’ve changed chefs since I first started coming here but they do a great job.
Service: Everyone here is always nice and super fun. I’ve never had any issues with service here.
Atmosphere/cleanliness: very nice vibes inside. Super chill for everyone. Few tv’s for sports. Never seen it dirty here.
