Food was was good. The service was kind of eh. Everyone in the restaurant hides behind that wall. You don’t see a single person in there. Don’t have any choice but to order on the kiosk or the app. No one ever greets you there’s not even ketchup that you can get to in the dinning room. You can’t even get your drink until after the person decides to appear and drop off your food. Don’t even know what the point of having a register in there is no one is ever at it. Definitely don’t feel this is a friendly place at all.

I don’t know the guy’s name, but this manager in particular is very nice. He’s tall, slender, Caucasian and has glasses, and he always spoke to me whenever I had to pick up a DoorDash, or was ordering food for myself (unless he was extremely busy, which I understood). When he was still managing the Cedar Lake location, he was still the same person. He was also an excellent communicator, and even though there was a slight mixup with a smoothie order once, he would always make things right. Most of the reviews on here are basically complaints about the food, messed up orders, and the staff being rude, but not this one. I’ve never had a bad experience at any location he managed. He does an awesome job, and he’s cool. Wish I knew his name though, even though I think I overheard that his name is Boris, or something like that. I just hope that young man reads this, and in case he does, you’re a gem, and keep up the good work.

literally only ever order a plain cheeseburger, the receipt on the bag and burger says in bold “ONLY AMERICAN CHEESE” 9 times out of ten, there is no cheese on my burger. I went through the drive through tonight and yet AGAIN i receive a plain cheeseburger with NO cheese. its ridiculous. I want to speak to your upper management as this location sucks at service and is even worse at fixing the issue

I do not normally leave Google reviews and I am not a McDonalds regular, but I had a negative experience on May 12, 2025 at 7am. I ordered a medium mocha frappe. When I pulled up to the window, the girl thought I had ordered a breakfast sandwich. No big deal; working fast food can be overwhelming, especially working drive through. I told her that was not what I ordered, and another woman refunded my order. After going back and forth with the girl about what I had actually ordered, I was charged with a medium mocha frappe, but was given a small mocha frappe. Here is the picture and receipts. I am disappointed that my order was wrong even after correcting the girl at the window several times and I was overcharged for what I received. I just took the small drink and left as not to inconvenience the girl anymore. I will not be returning.

It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, however, here we go. I’d love to call the manager unprofessional, but rude and incompetent are better words. Some people just shouldn’t be management. I don’t care that they made a mistake, but refusing to correct it and telling me that handling my order was a “waste of her time” is insane. I can’t even review the food because it took 46 minutes to get my full order and my food was obviously cold. Steer clear of this location.

Awful if I could I would give it 0 its a Saturday afternoon just going to get mcdonald’s with the kids got 2 happy meals and a cheeseburger plain for me and it took 15 minutes for them to get that order and when I got my order and there were no sauces and my cheese burger had everything on it and when I went inside they gave no apology or nothing 0 stars

The drive thru cashier accidentally wiped out a 20% credit from the app. He first suggested I just pay more rather than try to fix the error. Irritating but no big deal… however then neither of the managers seemed to be trained in the app so it took ages to correct a simple issue.

Rude people working there. Stopped today at drive thru at 1215 pm and the lady who took my gift cards didn’t want to give back my gift card that still had balance on it. When I asked, she just said I don’t know which one has still balance and gave me all back. First time dealing with such rudeness and ignorance since this place opened.

The St. John location DOES NOT get your order correct. Examples: I received a breakfast burrito meal with NO BURRITOS. When I returned for the burritos, I was not believed that they were missing. NO HASH browns with all meals. NO BIG BREAKFAST with HOTCAKES meal. When I pointed out that I did not receive the Big Breakfast Meal, the worker told me it was in the small bag. I asked how A MEAL ON A TRAY could fit in the small bag. She again said it was in there. When I forced her to check, she said “Oh” and did get me a Big Breakfast meal. If you are playing the Monopoly game, not getting food means also not getting your game pieces.
DO NOT GO TO THE ST JOHN MCDONALD’S LOCATION.

I can’t remember this lady’s name cause I’m the worst with names but she is literally the best person ever! Her tag did say ambassador. She has short, dark hair with a slim build. But every single time I come here she is just so so so kind and sweet. She just has a good heart. She’s never in a bad mood and she’s always very hospitable. I live here so I frequent this restaurant and not one time has she ever not been upbeat and professional. She’s a rare find. You guys are extremely lucky to have her on your team.
