The highlight besides the amazing flavors of the food, decor ans music were the Texas Twinkies. The ice cream was so creamy the closest to gelato.
A shop and deli onsite selling everything they serve and apparel.
The staff are super friendly and I cannot rave enough about how unique this establishment is.
True American style BBQ
Soft tender meats, and salads so delicious Ample seating and parking, as well as outdoor play area for the kids.
Out waiter Rachel, was awesome, friendly and really helpful in telling us how the system works.
It is surely worth every penny spent here.
This is a must bucket list, and a frequent place to visit, you will not be disappointed.
I definitely recommend it
Be prepared to stand in a queue during busy times, however, it’s totally worth it. The smoky flavours of the meat was just on point. We had the Brisket, Ribs, both the plain and jalapeño sausage and the chicken. The platter we bought was R1350 including 2 sides and the portion of meat was really big.
For sides We had the coleslaw, mac & cheese, cheesy potatoes and the potato salad.. everything was good! We had to do a doggie bag as we couldn’t finish at all. My fav was the brisket. So so scrumptious.
We also tried the key lime pie- so yummy, the brownie- very good, and also the mango and hazelnut ice cream- so so tasty.
We enjoyed it all….Will definitely be visiting again.
more generous that we found it.
Pros:
Good atmosphere and plenty of fresh country air
away from hustle and bustle of city.
Food is decent size (but see prices below).
Cons
its difficult to get to, the road from PMB is winding with potholes and from N3 the road is muddy so beware if its raining.
The food is fine dining prices for texas streetfood. Lets me honest this is not 5 star food but Amerian Shiesa Nyanma.
I couldnt get the smokiness taste but it was reasonable enough.
I cannot see myself going back
There is a huge grass play area with jungle gym and trampoline for the kids. After 4hours in the car that was great.
Big selection of drinks and cocktails as well as an Ice cream bar. The BBQ was tasty. Sides were average unfortunately.
