We were disappointed. We came here around 15 years ago and it was a lovely little restaurant but things have unfortunately changed over time. Ordered popadoms and they were brought over by a waiter who had his thumb on the top of them which was a bad start. The house white wine was undrinkable and tasted like it was watered down and the beer I ordered to replace it was flat. Food was average, nothing special. Drunk lady in a wheelchair brought the atmosphere down another few notches although seeing her get out of the said wheelchair and walk into the liquor store unaided was a memorable highlight. Sorry but wouldn’t return under current circumstances.

*Update Dec 2025* Wow. After been at an All Inc for a few days, it’s lovely to visit our old favourite. As always Excellent. A great place and a tradition when we arrive in resort. Stayed open late just for us 6 – excellent food (and Gluten-Free available). Update Dec 2024 – it’s been a while since I wrote the first review of Spice, but we still continue to visit a couple of times each holiday, usually twice a year. Excellent as ever !

We had the lamb kebab for starters and the king prawn madras for mains.Both cooked to perfection.Prawns just amazing.I also had peshwari naan with mine…again excellently cooked.

Very nice! Tried a few other curry houses in Teguise but this one is the best out of them all! Lovely onion bhajis with seekh kebabs to start. Then a chicken tika masala with garlic naan and pilao rice – Chicken was slightly chewy but still nice. Had the best Minute Maid apple juice as well, love that stuff. The staff were very polite and nice to us. Will 100% visit again when we come back to costa teguise.

From the moment we walked into Tandoori Spice, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. A lovely gentleman greeted us promptly and let us choose any table we liked. He brought over menus quickly and took our drink orders right away — I ordered wine, and he even poured a little for me to taste first, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, hot, and clearly made to order. The portions were generous, and every dish was full of flavour. During our stay, this was hands down the best dining experience we had. Everything was spot on: the atmosphere, the service, and of course, the food.
What made it even more impressive was that it seemed like he was managing everything on his own — taking orders, serving, and still making sure every guest had a smile on their face. He was so attentive and kind, even pushing tables together to accommodate larger groups, and making sure everyone was comfortable.
To top it all off, we were surprised with a complimentary treat with our bill — such a sweet and unexpected gesture that really left an impression.
We still have a couple of nights left on our holiday, and we’ll definitely be returning. Whether you’re dining solo, planning a date night, or out with a group, I couldn’t recommend Tandoori Spice more. A truly wonderful experience!
