Let me tell you, we won’t be passing without stopping again. The food was amazing , the atmosphere was fantastic, and the waitress was very nice. Hands down, the best place around! You guys have a lifelong customer with us.

Cute little spot along 60. We stopped in for lunch on our way across the state. Got the Chicken Pecan Salad and a burger. Server was super sweet, food was good, quick and easy. Would def drop by again.

This is a great little country place. Very good service and food. Portion sizes are enough to fill up a big man. The place is full of locals and alive with conversation. We will be back for sure!

Best little eatery in Lake Wales.
They only serve Breakfast and lunch and have limited seating but they serve a full plate of whatever you order for a reasonable price. Fast friendly service. We’ve shared a table sometimes with strangers (Our choice) and have enjoyed meeting new comers and making new friends. It’s worth it all if you can find a seat and worth the few minutes wait if you can’t find one upon arrival.

If you want an old fashioned breakfast, (it’s been the only meal I’ve had here), you have come to the right place. The service is good, the food is good and even the atmosphere is what it should be if you are looking for a place that is what you remember from 30 years ago as a good diner. Definitely give it a try if you want a nice breakfast. We will have to come back and try lunch as well.

Coffee was not good. It tasted sorta stale and weak and I poured it out. Having well made coffee should be a priority of any diner, so they dont get many stars from me. The food was okay, biscuit was extra big but too well done on the bottom. Potatoes were okay..
The building is small with many tables filling up the tight space, which would make accessibility difficult.
The tightly filled space is also full with what looks like any southern Grandma’s favorite things – kitschy figurines and art and colors. Everything looks like it’s from decades ago – but I guess people like that kinda nostalgic decor.
Parking is off of 60, so if you’re driving from the other side of the hwy it can be challenging to cross the hwy to get to the restaurant.
