My family loves this place. Whenever we’re going to see a show in ridgefield, we stop by for Hibachi. Fantastic service from the waitstaff, and the hibachi chefs are above and beyond. They’re entertaining, funny, and get you involved in the show. They aren’t pushy if you don’t want to participate and respect that not everyone is an extrovert. Fantastic food, very accommodating of allergies, all around great place! Recommend a reservation for weekend evenings.

Went for a family birthday, food was truly good! I recommend the gyoza, egg rolls, filet mignon hibachi (pictured), cold sesame noodles, sushi! Service was attentive, clean place

The place wouldnt move our habachi of 4 ppl to 7pm and insisted it be max 6:45- at first they said 6.
The habachi guy was just straight up mean- two others were at our table for a son and mother birthday- guess kid hit 16 or something n the habachi guy kept messing with all of us- not doing the full slew of tricks and he kept saying “happy birthday nobody cares” to the family couple- i thought that was mean.
Charged $5 to share a plate but wont bring out extra soup n salad.
Kept rushing us to order as i catch up with friends- like chill out n give me a minute.
Charged extra for rice but everyone who didnt order rice got free rice

Had Hibachi lunch and our chef, Sugar Sticky ☺️, was the best chef we have ever had. He was so interactive and fun with the kids! Food was amazing! Scallops and Filet…yum! A very kid oriented place and highly recommend overall!

Interesting that they call this a Japanese restaurant when they are more of a Chinese restaurant that serves sushi- subpar sushi to say the least – old rice and very cold. The fried rice was very tasty and the vegetable dishes were also good. The service is something to be desired- when a waitress comes over with a trash can in one hand and a dirty dish rag in the other to take our drink order, it sends a bad message. I agree with others that the service is not that good.

finally spicy beef with scallions looked like slop
bad experience

and they dont accept the ridgfield senior citizen discount card as do almost every other restaurant in Ridgefield does

Had lunch at this place. Totally disappointed. Wonton was made by someone doesn’t know how to make it or totally in a rush – just squeezed the wrapper around a bit of meat. That’s an insult to Chinese wonton!
Vegetables dumplings are soggy and tasteless.
Egg roll had very thick wrapper skin and is under cooked. You can see the uncooked flour in it!

The LOVE of Sushi, GREAT Chinese food and the good times of a delicious and entertaining Habachi dinner wrapped up in 1 restaurant. My family continues to try sushi restaurants, but “All roads lead back to Mannen.” The sushi is fresh, then service is very good , the presentation is nice. They are flexible and will make you something special. They have tons of great special combo rolls. The Chinese food is EXCELLENT and the Hibachi is delicious and so much fun, they make it a great family experience!!! The service is VERY good. This is our GOTO spot for great food….

Don’t order for delivery. They have a new policy that requires that you call them after placing an order To make any special requests, like brown rice, don’t add something, etc. And they frequently get it wrong. Most other places that are much more reliable. Do not recommend for delivery
